I'm sure. Mods made with the 1.2 CS need a game patched till at least 1.2

Waalx,
sometimes there is a strange light flickering on the forehead and around the eyes of the Shire Horse:

I have the same problem. I believe it has to do with the fog effect, combined with the shading.

I've finally installed WAC (thanks for the mod, waalx
) and I love the new creatures. They look just as great as on those screens I saw in the other thread. I've only just begun exploring but I wanted to hear if someone can help me with a small race conflict:
I'm using RBP and a bashed patch so I should be getting the race changes from RBP (that I've read in this thread other people are using too) but I cannot change the hair on any of the races??
Am I supposed to tag WAC or something to get all the hair to show up?
Anyway , I'll be back later to tell of my experience with this monster of a mod

I believe it's in the readme but:
WAC adds dozens of variations of the races, each with a different beard but those variations have no hair. The original beardless races have.

Thanks for the response, Mormacil, but I'm asking about the vanilla races not the bearded races added by WAC.
I can choose between all the eyes from RBP when choosing a vanilla race but not the hair. I don't have any other mods that RBP and WAC that touches vanilla races.
Anyone using RBP here?

RBP might be the problem, what does it stand for anyway?

What is RBP? I'm guessing Robert Beautiful People ??? If so, no, I for one don't use Beautiful People. It conflicts with too many other race and cosmetic mods. I make my own personal hair and eye compilations for custom and vanilla races.Mercer wrote:Thanks for the response, Mormacil, but I'm asking about the vanilla races not the bearded races added by WAC.

You'd have to go back several pages, maybe more, but Waalx has said the issue with the races is fixed in the next version. It's been mentioned many times.

You can still use custom races though. I'm using one of my own.

Oh by RBP I mean Race Balancing Project by bg2408. I read in this thread someone was using all of bg2408 mods and that they work fine with WAC.
I'm guessing it's a issue with tagging the mods and I'm no expert using wrye bash. Anyway I'll try and fiddle around a little...

this is a common problem, and not associated with WAC. It has been explained by BG in the RBP thread. I do not remember the technical reason, but choose a race, exit the menu, then rechoose the race without scrolling on any other races and the hair issue should be fixed.
EDIT: BGs explanation:
This bug is not caused by RBP, see this -
Issue: Unable to change hairs and / or eyes at character creation.
Cause: Cycling through a custom race with no playable hair or eye selection. This will "lock" the selection for ALL races selected afterwards.
Solution: Either uncheck the mod adding the faulty race, or toggle the race unplayable (may cause dialog issues), or add playable hair / eyes to the race.
Workaround: Use ShowRaceMenu after choosing a race, and don't switch races then - to avoid selecting the faulty race again!

Hey
a lot, npm78. I've never heard of this bug before. I'm so glad you told otherwise I could have been spending along time trying to sort it out.
I'm off to test it out...
EDIT:
It worked!!
And the world of WAC is awesome. I just met my first hill giant WOW! I thought MMM's giants were big.
I met so many new creatures just walking from vilverin to fort chalman which is only a few minutes walk away.
Can't wait to see more new creatures. The weapons are excellent quality, I don' think I've seen better. And I love all the details you made to the armor and cloaks, waalx.

But yeah, Showracemenu is your friend for a lot of mods.
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

Waalx,
I have to report an in-game-saboteur:
Sulinus Vassinus has coloured his beard
http://pic.leech.it/pic.php?id=ac8be28wacb06.jpg
and very often he is unwilling to wear his new robe

I do have the same weirdness
!
Long time no see guys !....
I've met the first Orgre family... Hate the beasts, i'll steer clear of them..
Also, mature ogres are ... let's just say... overpowered ? at least they can't pass in most cavern tunnels, so you can burn them to the death with spells .
@ Waalx : Still no big errors or conflicts (outside UL) , this is working great and is integrated perfectly in my setup (it helps, since it's my base
)
Will we have some quest related to waalx ingredients someday ?? I collect them anyway, just for the thrill of it
I have the mod Fighter's guild contracts by Giskar, and it adds a npc to each FG hall and he gives you "collecting jobs" and artifacts jobs most of the time. Mostly like hunt 5 of those and bring the pelts. It would be REALLY nice to have this with the variety of WAC
Maybe having those guys in your new camps might be good ?
Anyway, it's been a while , but i surely didn't left the boat man ! Too awesome anyway. See ya !

Not sure if you just wanted to show that this mod has been created with RS Nord stuff for the fun of it or if you think it's not allowed to use the meshes and textures from RS Nord.
If it's the second reason than there's no need to worry as the readme of RS Nord allows the meshes and textures to be used by other modders (with proper credit given), unlike the models and textures that are exclusive to WAC.
Anyway, I think that mod looks nice!
