Good, but this the Problem for me will there ever come a version, that is balanced, which "overhauls" Oblivion in thinks like the Dungeon Loot?Maigrets wrote:It's still alive.Bizzy wrote:By the way, will there ever come a next Version of WAC? Before or after Skyrim, I mean in general. Because, WAC have sutch amazing content, but it don't really exploit his content, of course it's a Beta, but i don't really have the feeling that this mod still alife. The next version will arrive when it's ready.

WAC will work with MMM, I use them both. You can use the base WAC esp and some of the various esps that don't affect creature spawns. However you CAN'T use the OverSpawn esp. This means you're missing out on a nice chunk of WAC's content, but that's the sacrifice you have to make if you want to use both WAC and MMM.

No there won't be anything taken from the previous game. RealSwords Dunmer is completed already and the content I made for it is in the WAC version that you have now. I didn't do a separate release, but I plan to make one soon.MrHimself wrote:Ive got a question but I dont really know if this is the right place to ask it or if it was been asked before.Anyways, will there be a Real Swords Dunmer (with tantos and other stuff from Morrowind) and will it be included in the next WAC version?sry 4 bad eng
You can find the Dunmer weapons on bandits already in WAC, and in my test chest that is right outside the Imperial City Sewer exit.
You can wait, but the beta is very much the same thing that version 1.0 will be minus some small bugs and fixes. Those bugs are easy to fix yourself already.Graham wrote:I guess i would only Use WAC' after its out of beta...I hate bug'slol! i admit, this looks like the best mod ever...but Skyrim is soooo close....and i worry about you abandoning this mod.... -_-....Q_Q Wac, If you mod Skyrim, ill follow your mods like a fly on stink!
As for running WAC along MMM, that's your choice. But be aware that WAC is an alternative to MMM, and was never meant to complement it, I made WAC to replace MMM. Running both at the same time will make Oblivion overcrowded.
Hopefully you should have the next WAC by the end of July.Bizzy wrote:By the way, will there ever come a next Version of WAC? Before or after Skyrim, I mean in general.

Brilliant, brilliant mod!
I'm especially grateful for the Gladiators plugin as the original Arena was rather dull. I also haven't seen another mod that comes close to this overhaul.
The only thing I will say, to make it more complete, is to add VWD within the arena (this would also be included from Spectators POV and the Practice Arena Cells).
I wouldn't mind doing this myself though, so I can see the white tower and the trees from the arena. Any idea how I might do this?
I know a couple of others mods do this but WAC moves the arena cells around so they aren't compatible with WAC. Any help would be great

there's a plug-in utility called "viewable when distant" or something like this that should solve your problem. I know it worked on my instalation.Initiate33 wrote:Brilliant, brilliant mod!

Otherwise you can also crank up you view distance in your preferences, or also modify your oblivion.ini file.

Hey Waalx, thought you were gone for good!
Are you able to link me to this 'viewable when distant' plug-in?
The only thing I can think you may be referring to is either RAEVWD (Really Almost Everything Viewable When Distant) or the less popular, MTAEVWD (More than almost everything visible when distant). Neither of these do the job I am looking for. They only provide VWD for Tamriel worldmap such as forts, ruins, etc when outside of the cities. I already use elements of RAEVWD anyway along with Better Cities' integrated VWD anyway.
My ingame VWD settings are also maxed
There are some mods that do what I'm asking for but, as I said, they aren't compatible with 'WAC - Gladiators' because of the way 'WAC - Gladiators' changes the content and positioning of objects within the relevant cells. One example is 'Arena Immersion Upgrade'. A picture of the subtle changes can be found here -

If anyone knows how to create such VWD (for want of a better term) for use in WAC - Gladiators, that would be awesome

Waalx, thanx for great mod!
One request, can you balance armor stats in upcoming version because some stats are to high like
Iron Boots with 15 armor compared to vanilla Daedric Boots which has 7.5
Marauder Cuirass 30 armor - Daedric Cuirass 18.75
Brown Leather Bracers has armor rating like Daedric Gauntlets - 7.5 armor
and other to small, for example Leather Greaves with 1 armor (vanilla Leather Greaves has 3.75)

Sounds like a good mod you could do for Oblivion yourself. "Rebalanced WAC Armors". Try it. It'll be popular.Khadjit wrote:Waalx, thanx for great mod!

This mod is overwhelming. It adds to Oblivion what Bethesda has - purposely or not - left out: variety, and challenge.
With that mod, a couple of realism mods and a Fast Travel disabled every trip outside a city becomes a dreadful experience for a low-level character. I had to level up to lv. 10 to get the confidence to stick my nose out of the safe Imperial City, and even then I often had to take the coward way out of some encounters. And there are so many creatures, you never know what are you facing exactly, and have to be really adaptive to diverse creatures with diverse behaviour and natural weapons. The bandits and marauder now will put an helluva fight even at higher levels, and at lower levels will be a formidable enemy that most of the times will prevail on you.
The weapon variety is awesome too. I always preferred to use bows and daggers over swords and shields; and to limit as much as possible my use of armor in order to shave weight and be more stealthy. With WAC, I've finally got choices, and those choices have to be wise: expecially when it comes to bows and arrows, high-velocity arrow may be better for sniping, but you'll need a robust bow too, and you'll need it lightweight if you're playing the rogue/thief character, and since most of the times moneys aren't enough to buy the best in both categories, you have to pick up the best compromise; and about daggers, finally there's something looking better than the Vanilla blades, namely the Kurkri and the Jambiya that I'm using a lot.

Waalx said hopefully. He did not give a definite deadline date which always leads to these questions and comments.Bizzy wrote:It is end of JulyWaalx wrote: Hopefully you should have the next WAC by the end of July..
