Are you ever going to include that old Morag Tong armor you did in WAC?
Also about the black screen, I lowered my graphics settings and haven't run into it since.

Haven't played yet Waalx, mainly because I'm in crunchtime to finish a game this week and I don't have OB installed yet

I played for a few hours tonight and I've still only seen a fraction of it all.
The gnolls are excellent. They didn't attack until I was right inside the camp, but my horse killed one outside and the rest came after me. Not easy with a new character but I had my dog companion with me to help and a few summons.
The eyes and mouth of the Shire Horse at Cheydinhal flicker a lot. I didn't notice it on the one at Weye though. Might just be a co-incidence. I play at 1680x1050 resolution.
At the Nordor Goblin Camp a Marid Newborn came towards me but didn't attack. It actually followed me everywhere including into Bruma and the Mage's Guild. No-one attacked it either. When I left Bruma it stayed behind so I didn't test to see if it would fight for me, but I'll go back later and see if it's still there.
Are they meant to be friendly?
There was a Hill Giant under the Talos Bridge but I ran for the hills because it threw my dog a mile across the river and she's essential with a healing ability. I didn't stay around to fight it.
I also saw a battle between the white lions and the evil lion. The whites killed it.
I see lots of fights going on without me and dead creatures and travellers so the world is moving even though I'm not involved directly. I've had no crashes or other problems. Everything is very stable.
The new weapons and armour are excellent as well.
Amazing stuff!!

Hi all.
I have finished downloading WAC a few hours ago and could play a couple more hours, as far as I've seen look awesome, pretty stable. Got one CTD, but maybe it comes from another mod as I have a lot running along (but I've trashed FCOM, OOO, MMM and Francesco).
I spotted one little issue, with the Get Wet mod, Black Goblins body textures turn kinda white and "foggy" under rain. Here is a screenshot. Don't know if anybody already spotted that.

Great work anyway ! I'm returning playing more !

I must have missed the new patch - V005b...
. So now I've downloaded it but haven't tried yet.
I know you have to re-add the hair and eyes back to the races for the player, and nothing is final, but I'm wondering if it would be better to give the Playable Races their own esp so the player can choose whether or not to use them at all.
The reason I mention it is because like myself, a lot of people have customized merged cosmetic packs that affect vanilla NPC's ( I don't use the default races) and it conflicts, making even custom race hair and eyes unselectable as well.
For example my merged mod gives eyelashes and lot of eyes to vanilla NPC's, but it's not compatible with the new WAC races and probably won't be when they are completed.
Currently, I'm using a custom race of my own, but have to deactivate my merged mod so NPC's don't have their eyelashes and new eyes. Otherwise my custom race doesn't work either as far as choosing hair and eyes. Most cosmetic mods or races cause problems when used together anyway.
Later, when WAC is released I can make my own changes for my own use, but a lot of people can't or don't want to do that.
As I said, I know nothing is final and it's just a suggestion..

Same problem with Anja,
I've already have a custom beard pack (bearded people) and it conflicts with WAC. As a result I can no longer choose the vanilla hair styles...
I guess I'll had to choose between bearded people and WAC...

Are you trying to make me believe you would choose a beard pack over a mod that add beards (already) and lets say..robes (WAC robes), armors (Bandits, Marauders,...), weapons (RealSwords), are all driven by the same esp that do the beards changes as I have no other choice.
MasterAub, I don't believe that a second of you!

yeah I know the beards are problematic at the moment. Seriously, though, show me another beard pack that have more variety than what I did for WAC...I have tripled the Mad Mole beards so there's nothing else on the Oblivion mod market that has more facial hair than WAC.

The thing is, it's not only about beards.. I can't make change over the same npc with two different plug-ins. If I want a mage with a robe of my own and a beard that move... I need to do this with the same esp, otherwise there's either a beard or a robe.
There's always the possibility that I can make a version of TCOS.esp without the beards. For the moment that's all I can think of.

That's like a new slogan? WAC... The hairiest mod you'll ever get!Waalx wrote:... there's nothing else on the Oblivion mod market that has more facial hair than WAC.....

But it's always tough to let one of your best character go...

If ihe's gone, he's not gone far...
You will be able to rebuild his look with one of WAC beards. I have that model for several races. As long as you edit you race the right way so you don't loose your levels... difference should be minimal at worse, like a different shade of grey or something, otherwise that beard is there.
And you could also give him a beard cut and chose a new style fer him too..
think about that!

Hey friend,
i was wondering while i was installing 0.05 if there's some ESPs that were considered patches? In this, i mean : Are they safe to clean with TES4EDIT ? I'll check first if they need to cleaned, but it's always a good precaution to do so.
By patch ESPs, i mean some intentional identical record to master. Like correcting something in an other ESP such Overspawn correcting something in the WAC.esp intentionaly by using the same record.
As i said, i'll check if they need to be cleaned. 0.04 were not very dirty. Less than 10 identical master to records. Also, you disable if you need to get rid of something, or you delete it for the master ?
Thanks !
ITMR = Identical to master records ; DR : Deleted references
EDIT : WAC.esp = 199 I.T.M.R, 96 DR ; Overspawn = 1 ITMR ; TCOS = 4 ITMR ; TCOS shops = 18 ITMR, 5 DR ; Dead knights = 6 ITMR , 20 DR ; Blackboot = 1 ITMR, 3 DR ; Magic = 4 ITMR ; player summons = 28 ITMR ; Crowded roads = Nothing
So , WAC.esp needs to be cleaned, while the others are fairly clean. I saved them and i'll use them that way, we'll see if there is something wrong. None of them were depending on an other esp, so it should be rather safe to clean them all. Anyway, i have the original archive , so nothing is lost if there is something wrong

I'm going to check that....
Conker
I'm looking for quotes that would come from history in relation to gladiatorial games.
So far the only one that I found that is from antiquity is from Aristotle, and it's more about life than about gladiators..
“In the arena of human life the honors and rewards fall to those who show their good qualities in action”
I'm not looking for a movie quote or something said by a person that didn't live through a period when gladiators were actual.
If nobody have an idea and I don't find one (fast) I will probably go with the one from Aristotle up-here but I will remove the words 'of human life' from the quote.
Betting in the arena is now a completely new gig... expect to be awed by the Munera (game) you will pay for (bet). The building of the arena have been severely updated.
The stadium have been opened to the player in parts, you will now have four different points of views you can get to, the Yellow and Blue Box, and the Yellow and blue balconies. For this to work the Arena Entrance have been remade and now reflect more how it is if viewed from inside (what they truncated in vanilla was very off the actual arena plan). You enter the blue Munera by the door that led to the Bloodwork in vanilla, and the Yellow Munera by the right.
You can pay for a munera day or night (instead of 9am to 9pm).
Arena combatant enter the arena by using a small door cut in the big arena gate, this door lead to an empty arena where some NPC may train sometimes. It will also be the place where you can be trained in the arena. Otherwise it's a passage cell that lead to the Bloodworks doors. Blue and Yellow. So yep at some point the Yellow Team Bloodwork will become a reality.
You can fight your Arena matches day or night as well. (more matches will be added to Owyn list in time, as some of his speech isn't making reference to who you will fight and can be reused).

I found only one (in two variations) related to arena, but maybe it helps:

Hi Alex,
Beard problem remains...
Not all beards are available for all races...more than that WAC is blocking me for choosing among the different vanilla hair styles. So not only I can't choose the beard I want but I can't choose the haircut I desire...
Hope you can fix this...

I said in the read-me that player shouldn't use the bearded characters yet, as I made the mistake to remove their hair and eyes. It unlock everything for NPC creation which is great, but for players it actually lock everything. I replaced some race to their original set-up, I'm not done yet.
Not all beards are available for all races, of course. I don't see a Bosmer with a viking beard...
Bearded people are Nords, Imperials, Breton, Redguards.
Elves have fu-manchu style beards, Orc only have a couple styles too.
Not every races have all beards styles also as I think it's normal that races have differences in this area as well. Try to understand that I have more than 4 beards styles here, I have 16. And with color variations this is going to... (grey, blond, red, black, brown...)...5x16 = 80 possibilities. I'm not going to add 80 races to each races. Neva.
Variety is the goal. If everybody can have the same beards, variety is out of the window and we return to vanilla Oblivion free-for-all. Contrary to this I think the game would do better with more limitations. Players can become Master Mages-Thieves-Fighter-Assassins in the same swing if they want, they use all the same weapons, armors, clothes, and .... but thankfully Bethesda made hair available by races, not to everybody.
WAC is not free-for-all, everything must have a reason. If I touch it, I think about it so what I add is not going to touch everything at once, but to make things more lifelike and different.

I vote for a return of the Bosmer beards. Those guys have as much hair as Dwemer you know
And yeah 80 variations is a bit much
