As seen here on Pete Hines Twitter page he confirms that there will be no more DLC for Skyrim.

I got to the above page via this thread at the Nexus. Most of it beyond the first post is speculation though I only got as far as page 6 or so before I stopped reading, but the OP outlines Bethesda's "farewell" announcement as far as Skyrim goes and that they are moving onto their next project.

It says they will be continuing to release minor updates in the future, but why bother, at least for PC? Really everything that can be and needs to be fixed short of a game engine overhaul, is being done by the Unofficial Patch team. The only ones to benefit by further updates will be console users and unfortunately they will never see some quest and other bugs resolved.

Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it sayingEnd Of The World Switch PLEASE DO NOT TOUCHthe paint wouldn't even have time to dry. Terry Pratchett

Well i guess that was to be expected sooner or later, we will have to wait and see.
Yeah there will always be people who are so * begin sarcasm * brilliant * end sarcasm * that they do not see how stupid they actually are.

Skyrim DLC is dead, Hail to Skyrim modding!!!
Even if I am a bit flabergasted by this announcement, I think this is a 3 years (at least) carte blanche to the modding community.
I mean the Lost Spire's mod was better than most of Oblivion DLCs...
If I get to have more times I am even considering doing a mod myself...

I'm posting this here since we all know there will be no more official content for Skyrim and I didn't want to start a new topic.
With the upcoming release of the Legendary Edition the Official Skyrim forums have now been merged which means the separate forums for DLC's are now included in the General Discussion forum. This means if you're looking for something specific to do with a DLC you'll have to search through one area, and goodness knows how many topics to find it, especially if you lurk like me and don't bother logging in to use the search function.
Spoilers obviously still go into the appropriate section.

Well then it is perhaps a good thing that i do not spend much time in the general forums, but then again who knows what happens in the future. That beside the point i still agree with what Aussie500 mentions in there...
I preferred them separate, since there are still so many still playing.
Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
