Here for updating:

and here for how to reset cells within the MCM menu:
https://sites.google.com/site/immersive ... -respawner

I watched the 6.1 trailer again and the Skyrim theme music still gives me chills after all this time. 'Rock On!' Can't wait to see the goblins and the armoured dogs that follow the Imperials around. In the trailer they look hilarious.
No i did not know that method of resetting? Hmm that makes me think i will have to check the Deadly Dragon menu as well when i update a few mods and start playing again. Also i hat to laugh quiet a bit when i saw the armoured dog. Granted adding a body protector could be seen as smart in some situation like Skyrims violent nature, ( Boar hunters using dogs have their dogs often protected by some kind of neck and chest protection. ) but when i saw the helmet, i really hat to laugh.

Maigrets wrote:The Khajiit Speak mod is awesome and I love how it uses my character name when I speak to someone. The lines are well written as well and really adds that immersive flavour to Khajiit characters.

Can you believe I died in the tutorial? First time ever....lol. :-( Playing on Master with a weak kitty who was planning to be mainly a sneaky illusionist assassin and was killed by an Imperial whelp. One of these days I'll try the Alternate Start mod, but since I only play one character at at time I don't actually mind the tutorial...plus I like the sequence with Alduin. We don't really get to see him that much considering he's the big, bad Boss.

As far as the map goes, it was mostly to do with the small icons and being the same colour as the map. For the moment I've reinstalled the Quality Map with Roads, but I'll give the mod you linked a look.
See i mentioned you would not regret using Khajiit speak. :) I am not a person who wants a 100% immersive play ( More like 40 to 60% :) ) but that mod makes it feel like you are indeed playing with a Khajiit. As for the map markers...well the mod a linked to has better visability on the map but i am not sure if they are all bigger then the default markers from Walburgs mod?

As for Dying during the Tutorial, well i hat that happen once or twice with the vanilla game. But then i first started using Live another life and no longer hat to deal with the tutorial part in helgen. When Syclonix brought out Random Alternate start i started using that one and i have stuck with RAS from then on. I hat times when i would appear at a Dwemer ruin and was attacked by two Dwemer mechanical dragons. Another time i was placed ouside a Nord ruin that was swarming with high level undead from SiC, so you are not alone in getting your level 1 character killed. :)

In fact I'm getting a few good laughs from the dialogue choices. When I spoke to Farengar to tell him I already had the Dragonstone I burst out laughing at response I could give. "It seems you're not up to date then, hmmm." Something along those lines, but it was funnier.

I'm thinking about trying this mod after I do some more reading on it. Has anyone else tried it?
CTD and memory Patch ENBoost
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649/ ... w%3D&pUp=1

It's not an ENB as such which I don't want, but manages system memory better. The comments are very optimistic so it might be worth it.

As an aside and one reason I was looking at the above mod:
A few nights ago my game started crashing and stuttering very badly for no known reason as I hadn't added anything or done anything and it got worse the more I tried to play.

It seemed co-incidental that it started straight after the most recent Steam update. I ended up verifying my game cache after doing all the other usual things, and it said there were 6 files (66mb) that needed to download, but I have no clue what they would have been as it doesn't tell you of course. :-o How that happened I have no idea, but it's working properly now and I'm back in Skyrim after finishing Falskaar. Sometimes.... ;-((

Making a second post about the mod I linked in the previous post in case anyone's interested.

I decided to try it out of frustration after having my game become more unstable and crashing a lot...again...and stuttering so it was almost unplayable. One day it's fine (well pretty good anyway but still stutters), next day it's awful for whatever reason I cannot fathom.

This mod is like a miracle. 'Rock On!' I just used the default settings. Didn't have to make any changes to the config file.

My game has never been smoother and I mean never, even since 2011, and no crashes or even a hint of a stutter in 4 hours of play where I only stopped because it was getting late...and cold.

EDIT:

Just found that Gopher has done a video on it.

Well i played with my new character a bit yesterday evening, and was trying out Hialgoboost again...and for some reason it is now working great. From what i have read HialgoBoost can work with ENB related mods, so i guess i could see if Hialgoboost will work well with CTD and memory Patch ENBoost. :)

EDIT: Well that question was quickly answered, and the answer is...NO Hialgoboost and CTD and memory Patch ENBoost do not seem to be able to work together. And before any one asks, yes i did make all of the necessary changes mentioned here...

HiAlgoBoost does nothing for me, in fact my game seems worse with it on and I have tried it a couple of times. ;-((

I'm getting great results from CTD and Memory ENBoost though. Much better than I could ever have expected, particularly since I don't have a lot of RAM to play with, or a super video card (1GB VRAM). One day maybe when I win the lottery.... :-(

Just by freeing up the RAM I do have seems to make a big difference and I don't plan to add many more texture mods, (probably) so hopefully (fingers crossed) the added load to the video card shouldn't matter. So far so good anyway and there's always Texture Optimizer which I always use now. :)

I had to make a couple of tweaks to ENBoost so my graphic mods work, eg Climates Of Tamriel, Imaginator and Lighting mods. I found that the night eye part of Predator Vision doesn't work and neither does the vanilla night eye, but checking Gopher's PV mod page I made a change to the actual ENBseries ini and it now works. However, that means I lose a tiny bit (not all) of the fps boost I had gained because it changes the rendererer, but the game is stable, which is more important to me.

The biggest and most welcome bonus for me....NO stutters at all. :-) Especially the annoying pauses when kill cams start, crafting and horse mounting and the 1st person stuttering I've been plagued with for so long to do with VSync and mouse since this game engine links their functions together. ;-(( ENBoost has VSync off by default and it works like a dream, but if you turn it off in the actual game ini it can cause all sorts of issues.

Anyway, it comes down to what works for some may not work for others, so it always going to be a bit (or a lot) of trial and error.

Agreed.

When i tried ENBoost i did notice that it does what it is supposed to do, except that it seemed to increase the loading times a bit. But that might be because of what it is suppose to do. So if Hialgoboost was not working for me now, i would have continued to use ENBoost as well. Which reminds me that i should try to see if any one on the Hialgoboost page has found a way for the two to work together.

It does increase loading times for me as well and I had to end up reversing a change I made to the ENB ini so Predator Vision night eye, or if necessary vanilla nighteye, and so the Imaginator works. The game crashed more with it which was disappointing. I've been following Gopher's Falskkar playthrough and he's currently using ENBoost so it will be interesting to see what he says about Predator Vision.

My game was actually running great without either addon until for some reason it started to play up around halfway through Falskaar. Maybe my save got corrupted somehow. No idea really as I hadn't changed anything. The thing I don't like is that I either play with vanilla graphics with ENBoost which looks terrible, use an actual ENB which I don't really want to do, put up with it misbehaving or start over again. It's getting really annoying.

According to some of the comments in the ENboost page people have got it working with HiAlgoBoost so who knows?

EDIT: I'm going to give HiAlgo another try and see what happens or just not use either. One of my problems is I don't understand a lot of the things needed well enough to experiment with settings for ENBoost and I've already been through all the comments several times. I don't dare ask a question or I'll get one of the snide replies from Boris that others who ask simple questions get.

I don't see a big bonus for me to have the game running better when several mods I use don't work anymore...as mentioned above, and I forgot to add that nights are as bright as day now even with a mod to darken them. It's all rather depressing. :-(

Well snide replies do not stop me if i think i need to ask something. But i have to admit that i see this happen more and more that people get snide replies from others on the Nexus. Although i am not stopping with asking question when and where needed, i am none the less not liking where that is going. Hopefully you can get HialgoBoost to work for you, i personally really like it so far.

I never even got to seeing the night sky with ENBoost, but Summer Skies does not make the nights darker any way so i guess i would not have noticed that part myself. :) And i agree, if mods you like and use do not work any more then the benefits are not worth losing those mods in my opinion.

Well yes normally I would as well if I couldn't find an answer some other way by research, but what's the point in asking when you're going to get a reply like that from the actual author? Defeats the purpose of asking in the first place unless someone else is nice enough to help out. I don't much like to be called a fool and worse for asking a simple question. It would be OK if he said "do this or that" even if he was rude, but not getting a proper answer as well as being insulted is a waste of my time.

Anyway as you probably guessed I was a bit fed up with it all yesterday, but I did try HiAlgo again and it seems to do something this time. I think it's also helped by using the Texture Optimizer which I wasn't using in previous attempts.

I can live with the occasional CTD...fact of life with Bethesda games, but my main issue is stuttering in first person when turning the mouse left or right, especially if I move it too quickly, which gets really annoying. I already have mouse acceleration turned off which didn't do much on it's own. It's linked to VSync and frame rate so I've read and the ENBoost mod actually has a fix for it called AntiLag. It's available as a separate download so I might try that to limit erratic framerate.

I have high fps and smooth gameplay normally in most areas even without HiAlgo, in Markarth and other places people have issues with, but as soon as I want to move the mouse to look around, the game stutters badly and sometimes takes 20 seconds or so to normalize. It's not always that bad but is worse in cities.

I've read posts where others have the same issue via Google...lol, and on the STEP forum. It's not related to mods or textures, but is a limitation of the game engine where frame rate is linked to VSync and mouse acceleration, something which most developers don't use anymore these days.

Well yeah that would make it a waste of time if is the author itself doing that. If they have no interest in other peoples questions and constructive criticism, then they should not allow comments in total in my opinion.

That is okay, i also have days where i am fed up with a lot of things. On those days i have to be careful what i say or write to people, just to prevent getting the things worse then before.

Yeah CTD's belong to Bethesda games, they do not surprise me any more. The stuttering is more annoying indeed, and i do have bMouseAcceleration= set to zero for a very long while now and it certainly makes using the mouse a normal thing instead of a hair ripping issue over time. Well i am one of those people who notice a drop in FPS in Markath, although it is still very playable in Markath for me...but i notice it none the less. But i have more problems with certain area's in Whiterun...namely the first part where you enter the city...the immediate area around the gildergreen and the market place. It is yet again playable but in those Whiterun places i get a slightly bigger FPS drop then in Markath, while the rest of Whiterun is fine.

The Texture optimizer definitely helps with the Vram in my opinion. I will take a look at the antilag you mention, and will also read the STEP site link you place.

The weird thing is my game has been almost perfect for a long time through my last three characters who got to level 60+ and my current one as well who is now struggling to get past level 40. I seemed to have got rid of the mouse lag problem until now.

It seems like a huge co-incidence that it started again at the same time as the last Steam update which must have altered something in my ini files or damaged something that I can't work out. Also when I verified my files on Steam because of this and sudden constant crashing, and it had to download 66mb for a reason I also can't determine. As I mentioned before it happened halfway through my Falskaar playthrough and has been there ever since. I've deleted the inis and generated new ones twice.

I seem to remember I was playing at the time and the game crashed hard. I found that Steam was downloading the update in the background and wanted to install which crashed the game. It peeves me that now Steam updates itself even in Offline mode which is one reason I play offline. ;-((

I'll work something out, hopefully without having to re-install again. Now I'll shut up about it, lol...unless of course I find out what caused it.

Well it is possible that a update for steam caused it for you, would not be the first time steam causes problems. It is the reason why i have Steam set to not auto update, and i have it set to Offline, but it never started downloading anything after that...at least not as far as i can tell that is?

I finally had to give up my Khajiit character. Either the saves had been corrupted somehow or something else was being weird. So I've started over and created a male Nightblade (Breton.) Lots of mod changes - removals and many additions.

I decided to add Realistic Needs and Diseases and several complementary mods, which I'm actually having fun with. The disease part no longer applies though since I have the Beast Blood. I'm not ready for Frostfall though...maybe next time.

On a pleasing note...the AntiLag files seem to be working well for me, so far. I set my fps to 35 as it recommends and the game is smoother and stutter free, except for the occasional mouse issue...still, but it's nowhere near as bad which is also helped by AntiLag. I'm going to check out some ini tweaks for mouse headings when I get around to it.

The AntiLag I'm using can be found here - scroll down the page about halfway. I had another link but I can't find it again, however this link is to the guy who made it.
http://www.kegetys.fi/
It's similar to the FPS Limiter mod on Nexus but that wants you to disable VSync (bad idea), whereas this one doesn't. The file is a couple of years old but works better for me than ENBoost or HiAlgoBoost.

Actually FPS Limiter has the exact same files as the one you linked to, also GriefReaper mentions that you should actually force V-sync on not of. And i already played a bit with HialgoBoost and the Antilag activated through the Hialgoboost ini and although i still get lag in some places it does indeed feel a whole lot smoother. :)

But as for both Antilags having the exact same files, it makes me wonder who the author is? This Keiji from the link you placed, or GriefReaper...maybe they are one and the same person? Also sorry to hear about Chirra, she was a great looking Khajiit.
Yeah there will always be people who are so * begin sarcasm * brilliant * end sarcasm * that they do not see how stupid they actually are.

I misread or misinterpreted that then about VSync. But why force it on via GPU when it's on in the game ini by default anyway. All Bethesda's games do this and it's actually more difficult to turn it off properly.

Whatever the case, I've left the game VSync on by default and it works. Easier than figuring out all the ENB options anyway and all my graphic mods work.

From what I've read on other forums during researching my mouse issues, "Kegetys" is the original author. It's at the bottom of the credits of the FPS Limiter by GriefReaper anyway so we both misread...lol

I am not sure, maybe forcing it through the GPU works better then through the games ini?

That is true. :)

Since I just started a mage I'm going to give this new mod a try. It's actually something I've been hoping for since I last played a mage.

Immersive Sounds - Magic

I watched and listened to, lol, the videos in the comments and it does sound very good and professional. The sounds are calmer and less abrupt and grating, especially if you're like me and have to use headphones.

I hope he finishes the Destruction tree as he says because some of those spells really need work/replacing. ie Ice Spike which is really hard on the ears..

It certainly sounds a whole lot better, especially the summon spell sounded better, not loud any more.
