Also thanks for the Wolf sound link, i do like how it sounds. Yeah Werewolf mastery has great functionality, and wolves that are close to you when you get attacked will come to your aid. But considering the amount of followers you use you do not need their aid. :)
LOL,, I used to hate followers, but I mainly have them for company and leave them somewhere if I want to be alone, and to watch some of the stupid things they do. It's quite entertaining at times. I still manage to get my kills though even with them following. I find I'm needing my followers in Falskaar, and probably back in Skyrim now, because every Draugr is a Deathlord, or an Overlord, or worse, and they have extra shouts and powers. Being surrounded by them is not fun when they can use the freeze shout, among others...lol. I've been turned into an ice cube a few times when I wasn't being careful. Due to SkyRe and Immersive Creatures I expect.

I actually never really noticed that the wolves come to my aid until some time after and I enabled it and I mainly did it because I feel bad having to kill them if they attack when they are related to me...sort of. I'm having more fun than is probably healthy playing as a werewolf... Makes it easy to clear out caves full of necromancers and marauders and my followers transform when I do so it's even better roaming the land laying waste to "evil" doers. I don't kill innocents though, except guards and Thalmor if I don't get caught doing it....even a werewolf has standards, but sometimes the beast takes over completely

But as for the screenshots, i like the one with the Howling wolf and the Hot springs one. Also lol on the last one, that Husky is looking like it thinks..."You can say whatever you like furry master but i am not jumping down that deep."
Ironically, the husky, Garm (it's a mod not from DG) found another route that I didn't see. Shows how good dogs are at tracking... Also ironic that I use a mod to darken dungeons then have to use Predator Vision or the night eye effect to see where I'm going because I hate using torches and if I have to swap to a weapon in a hurry.

I still hate followers, i have tried a few in Morrowind and in Oblivion i tried a few of your Animal Followers. And although i understand and see that they have their use...i do not use followers unless they are forced upon me. :)

My thoughts as well, why kill your own kin. As for having to much fun playing as a Werewolf...hey werewolves are great fun to play, especially in a group.

Well i just did that quest myself on Falskaar, and i only found the trapdoor and then once inside the dungeon the way out? But still dogs are very difficult to throw of track once they have caught sent of some one or something. :) I also do not use torches, that is why i use a mod that allows me to make rings that are useful...like a ring with Night eye effect. Among other things that is...and i usually use the console to get the two rings i want most, so that i can use them right from the start of the game.

Finished Falskaar after around 25 hours and doing everything possible. IMHO, the greatest mod I have ever played and that includes the official DLC's.
An Amber Creek farm

Are we ready! We have to save Falskaar.
Image

The beginning of the most epic dungeon ever...
Image

A bit further on...or a lot further on in the same dungeon I should say, towards the entrance of a tomb.
Image

Saved the Jarl's family after they were kidnapped and being confronted by the main protagonist. It's a cut scene so I was stuck there in beast form...lol. No-one seemed to care though.
Image

The big pep talk leading up to the final battle. There are more soldiers behind me.
Image

Falskaar is saved and we all enjoy a drink and a song at the Inn. The bard songs are excellent and really worth listening to.

Well at least i know a few more things for once i get there again,( Don't ask, lets keep it at...he became to boring lately. ) looks great. And yeah that is another nice ( Albeit some what weird at times. ) thing about Werewolf mastery. I did that on purpose once when i hat done the Bards college, it was quit fun hearing..."Welcome to our newest member" while pointing towards my character in Werewolf form.

Thanks MasterAub and Ailsa. I just had a look at Scholarly Adventures and it does seem like something I would enjoy. Thanks for the idea. :)

I can guess, but I won't mention it...lol. Like I've said before..sometimes this game..... ;-((

Yeah, I found it easier to wipe out the enemy soldiers in beast form and didn't know the cut scene was coming which was why I got caught out... I hope you get there as I found the end sequences very epic even though some people are saying the opposite.

When I got back to Skyrim I went on a werewolf rampage across the land with my followers also in beast form. Good times...lol.

Indeed, but for some odd reason i seem to get used to it...it took almost two years to get to that point.

Considering what i was able to see and do in my short time on Falskaar, i am certain i will disagree with those that say Falskaar is nothing special at all. ( If they think so then they should make a mod to show how it is done...yeah like that will ever happen? )

Oh the Horror...the Horror...all that blood on Chirra's armour, and no stain remover in sight.

Some wanted to be king and others wanted a castle of their own as a reward to make them feel special, but without spoiling anything I think the way it played out was just right. Unlike most of vanilla Skyrim quests I was recognized for my actions, but I wasn't the ultimate conquering hero because that's not how it's meant to be. I just helped everyone else.

It's what's done behind the scenes that pulls it altogether that makes me appreciate it more. Bethesda has different people working on all the separate areas like quests and scripts, world building etc where AJV did it all himself, except for the voice acting. He obviously has good management skills as well. But the entitled jealous brats have no idea how that all works so they trash it for whatever stupid reason.

Like most modders AJV only guarantees it to work with the vanilla game, as it should be, and if it works with mods that's a huge bonus, thankfully. I only had a couple of small issues with the ending sequence which were easily fixed by using the "T" key and common sense.

Well....ummmm....Chirra's armour remained spotless as it was her beast fur that was stained by the blood of her victims. :cheese: A good romp in the snow, and even wet grass is good for removing stains before changing back. It doesn't work for the bits of bone and flesh stuck between her teeth though, but Khajiit can deal with that. Image

Yeah you do not have to be seen as you mention...the ultimate conquering hero, like you are about to be excepted as one of the Divines or something. Just having NPC's that recognize your actions can make for a more immersive play i think.

Yngol no longer has his helm. I gave it and his armour to Lydia since it's heavy. I think it's Immersive creatures that adds his armour which is basically a slightly nicer version of the Ancient Nord armour.
Image

I also gave away the helm because it squashes my poor ears and look what it does to my whiskers. "Ouch!"

Leader of the pack. There were seven Ice Wolves in the pack but the others kept wandering off down the hill. Photo shy I guess. A couple of them followed me for awhile after this. I like how these and other wolves treat me as an equal.

I've got your blood in my eyes but I can still see you and kill you bandit! Just like your friend there on the ground.

Necromancer. I nearly died here because I hate those Ice Spike spells and just cannot get coordinated in 3rd person. Normally I only use 3rd person for screenshots.

* Good old Yngol, always ready to hand out presents. :)

* As for the Ice wolves( Or wolves in general. ) it is always a great thing to watch when they do that, makes you feel like a pack member indeed.

* Damn that is one heck of a shaving you gave those bandits?

* Appels and flowers, hmm i wonder if Skyrim has Vegetarians.

* Necromancers can indeed be a pain in the butt at first, but later in the game i just rush in and kill them as fast as i can.

Sadly I had to retire Chirra, my Khajiit as her saves seem to be beyond redemption. I've now created a male Breton Nightblade named Alistair. He is as much at home with a blade as a destructive spell. He's only level 6 at the moment but things look promising. I thought about a custom race but changed my mind in the end. It took me quite awhile to be happy with the face as the eyes wouldn't do what I wanted, but the Character Gen Extension mod with the extra sliders helped a lot.

He's a bit of a rebel with his long black dreads with feathers stuck in them and he'll probably were an earring soon...not silver though.

This is Alistair. I think I'll change the warpaint colour soon though. It's supposed to be indigo but looks more black out of the showracemenu.

A breton Nightblade with long Dreads, a rebel indeed and he looks like he prefers the outdoors over Cities. :) As for the Tattoo colour, yeah i hat that happen at times as well, not sure why it some times does that but with a bit of reworking the colour in RaceMenu should usually do the trick. And did you use the Debug menu to get a potion or did you get infected naturally so to speak? Any way i am tired of waiting for a Werewolf to pop up so personally i will use the debug menu tonight to get the beast blood. :)

Lol, I mainly chose Breton for the magic resistance because he'll be more a mage than warrior, but also because I like them as a race. As far as cities go it's always my characters preference. No real reason to hang around in them except for short necessary visits. That's me in real life too...lol.

I used the debug menu both for this character and my Khajiit. Works perfectly, BUT make sure you're not in a city or around NPC's because you'll get a forced change.
I wish my werewolf wasn't so weak as a "baby" though, but it won't be for much longer.

Another thing I forgot to mention when I posted my Load Order...I got rid of the Prides of Skyrim mod. Too many lions and spawn points everywhere I go and it gets really annoying, especially at low levels. They are too overpowered and it's probably never going to be updated. I do like the mod, but it has problems.

Yeah the magic resist they have is very useful i agree, as for you in real life...well Australia is big enough to do so.

I was in my players house when i used the debug menu yesterday, so by pure luck i already did what you suggested. :)

I can totally relate to that, they are great to have around for a few times but they are very strong and always in a pack of 4 to 6 lions.

Alistair has had a makeover and grown a beard as well as a few tweaks to his features.

I quite like XVision children because it gets rid of the clones and all the kids look so different. Some of them look a bit odd, but still 100% better than vanilla. Now Braith is Redguard as she's supposed to be.

Very nice new character :D I look forward to seeing how he develops :D

I got rid of Prides of Skyrim after I discovered several NavMesh errors that gave me CTD's in a couple of places.

Thanks. :)

Yes, since Prides was so widespread all over Skyrim it's possible it was the cause of some of my crashes. Bit hard to tell sometimes but if another mod uses the same deleted navmesh as Prides it's a given though.

Even now after removing it for my new character, I'm still on the lookout for lions in the distance and especially the tiger and leopard near Whiterun. I've been conditioned to fear lions....
