And it took these two weeks and a 105 euro's to get it fixed. So for once a great game was not ruined by Steam or whatever. Still i can only hope that once i can install my games again i will be able to recreate Nydaoni.
Really sorry to hear about your computer problems. :-( I can empathize. I wondered if something had happened and I'm glad it wasn't worse, although that's bad enough. I'm sure you can recreate Nydaoni and may she be resurrected in all her glory. :)

Well i was finally able to start playing a bit yesterday, and for the most part i am very pleased with how Nydaoni looks. BUT this time i use UNP instead of CBBE. And i use it combined with SG Female Textures Renewal / SG Female Eyebrows / The Eyes of Beauty and the CharGen mod Ailsa linked to. No matter what i tried so far i can not get rid of the Make up effect directly around the eyes, but who knows what i will find out later.

So first two Character pictures of Nydaoni. ( Again :) )
During the Night.
Image

During the Day. ( The eye colour does not show correctly due to the games sunlight. )
Image

They hat the honour of being the first victims. lol
Image

Well i personally do not think the Favourites Menu of SkyUI v4 is to small. ( But i guess at high screen resolutions it could be to small. )
Image

I am also still playing around with Imaginator, not that i am not happy with how it looks right now but i have a sneaky feeling that my settings where slightly different previously. But that is only a very slight issue. :grin:

She is lovely imho :D. You can find lighting that really reduces the make-up a lot and also (though it takes me forever) fine-tuning each colour manually in the Race Menu you can make it practically invisible.

Thanks Ailsa. :)

And yeah i guess i will have to play around more in Racemenu, it is my best option to lessen it as far as possible.

I like this version of Nydaoni better. :) She looks like she means business too.

The colours in your game look very crisp and bright. I like those wall textures in the last shot.

I'll have to try it. I play at 1680x1050 and that makes text quite small. Some of the custom weapon and spell descriptions are so small I can't read them, although usually that's when they add a lot more to the description..lol so I guess I'll have to see.

Thanks Maigrets. :)

As for the colours, yeah at first i was a bit annoyed that i could not remember the precise settings i used previously. But yesterday after having played a bit again, i thought...Hey as it is actually looks really good. So now i will keep the colours as they are. :) Concerning the wall textures...well i use quit a lot of texture replacers, so right now i could not tell you which replacer adds those wall textures. I will see if i can find the one that adds them, but it might take a while.

Hmm that is a some what odd resolution setting to me. Then again i know several people who think my monitor has odd resolution settings, so who am i to talk like that. :) When i bought my current monitor i first started playing at 1920x1080, but that streched a few things ingame that i did not really like. So then i tried 1600x900 and although it looked quit a lot better then the one i mentioned before, i still hat a feeling that it did not look correctly. After that i tried 1360x768 and that one was the best for my taste, and is the one i have been using with Skyrim so far.

( Although out of curiosity i will take another look at 1600x900. )

My monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080 letterbox (22" monitor) but it makes everything text related too small to read even though I have glasses...lol For general Windows use and in other programs I can increase the size of icons etc, but in games it's not possible and I hate having to peer at the screen to see what is being written to see the tiny icons and text.

I also set the FOV to 80 in the console, which stays in the savegame, for a wider peripheral view. The default is 70 which looks like tunnel vision to me. You can set FOV in the ini but it's not advised, so I read, as it can cause problems. Many other games let you do it in the options but not Skyrim.

Hmm i always set these 3 in Skyrim.ini under the Display section...

defaultfov=90
fDefaultWorldFOV=90
fDefault1stPersonFOV=90.0000

And i never hat any problems what so ever with it? Granted when i first start a new game i have to open and close the map menu once for those FOV settings to activate, but after that they work flawlessly for me?

My monitors native resolution is also 1920x1080, but it comes with several presets i can use, and by default it uses the text preset which makes text very sharp and readable at that resolution. ( BTW i also wear glasses so that preset is very useful to me. :) )

Silent Moon camp here i come.
Image

I am very glad i found that Banner replacer, they look a whole darn lot better then the Vanilla versions.
Image

Well Bear, at least you died on a sunny morning.
Image

This one scared the freaking hell out of me! I was on my way to the Halted Stream camp, when out of no where i heard the Alpha werewolf scream from Heart of the Beast behind Nydaoni. I did not even hat time to turn around, because with the first strike the werewolf ragdolled my character quit a few feet! Once i was up again it took some time to kill the werewolf and that red wolf that came with it. And thanks to the suggested settings by the author of Bloodmoon Rising for Deadly Monsters, those werewolfs from MT really hit like a ton of bricks.
Image

And just in case some one wants to ask, the Banner replacer i found is this one. :)

And so ends the life of a Nightingale Sentinel. ( Well the second one died about 15 seconds later. )
Image

I am really starting to like that bow. :twisted:

Previously in the possession of a bandit...guess she did not read it. :grin:

I am really liking Inconsequential NPCs, it is yet another thing Bethesda should have added. ( People repairing stuff. )

Well the base texture replacer is this one...

TheWinterhawks Decently Recolored Whiterun

And then i just replaced some of the things with other textures. Like...

Whiterun Rug Replacement

Whiterun Pathway And Market Stall Retexture

And of course Design of the Nords that i linked to a few posts back. There is more but it is a matter of personal mix and matching. :)

So, now you've taken the blood and joined the wolf clan? :grin:

Nice immersive action pics. :)

I downloaded the Shadow of Meresis mod a couple of weeks ago, but haven't tried it yet. Sounds like it's worthwhile. :)
