Thank you so much ^_^
Between bouts of flooding and a busy work period I have been having some fun with Jodi. She has rapidly become ridiculously good with bow and sword. A Draugr Deathlord took one look at her and ran away LOL
For some reason this is my favourite picture that I have taken so far.
I love the wall and floor carvings, and think they greatly add to the atmosphere.
I find this combination of cloud and night sky very evocative
I was just transfixed by this scene and found that I let nearly 2 hours in-game time pass whilst I was looking at the view
This guy just fell out of the sky and landed at my feet o_O LOL
I think Jodi looks rather good in a hood ^_^

LoL That must have been the black sheep among the Deathlords.
The one with a view over the water towards Sollitude is indeed really beautiful. And yeah it does look good on her, it makes her bright blue eyes stand out even more...plus it gives her a more "do not mess with me" look.

The dragon against the moon is great. It's almost like it's the last dragon in the world.
The floor and wall carvings are very good aren't they. I really like Alduin's Wall and the story it tells.
Lol, I had a Deathlord run away from me round a corner once too, but he changed his mind and bought a few friends back with him.

Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it sayingEnd Of The World Switch PLEASE DO NOT TOUCHthe paint wouldn't even have time to dry. Terry Pratchett

Yet another dead dragon drops from the sky
Pack of wolves I watched for a while (SkyTEST is the name of the mod it adds realistic animals and predators)
A plover (I think) resting on the docks - I love having more realistic birds in the game

The wolves picture is awesome.Ailsa wrote:It just dropped out of the sky - since the update I have been having dragons dropping out of the sky about every 3 or 4 days game time and I have no idea as to why LOL
Interesting you should say that about the dragons. I've never seen it happen in my game although people have mentioned it since game release, but last night I had two dragon skeletons drop on me in different places...one was named (from Kynesgrove) and the other a random one... Scared the life out of me just coming out of a cave and having it land on me too.

Agreed it does look beautiful. I also like the one with the bird, it are those little things we can add into the game that can make it even better.

I like this lighting from my travel lantern
Without it nights are beautifully dark and I keep getting lost
I think I love dawns as much the dusk
I decided to create a new character as thieves were rushing up to Jodi with their daggers drawn and asking what she wanted o_O. As she has NOT touched the Thieves Guild I thought this was very strange. However Zalash, who thinks that he might be an Imperial but doesn't know for sure, is experiencing the same thing
I loved the lighting on this carving in Bleak Falls Barrow
When I saw this bird I just had to turn off the grass to see his colours and behaviour ^_^, I think that he is a work of art.

Seconded. And the Birds are excellent.Fessels wrote:They all look great Ailsa, and i think i really need to try out the Birds of Skyrim and Wearable Lantern mod.
Get the 101 Bugs mod as well and have a red torch bug lantern as well as an insect wonderland.

I love the 101 Bugs as well and think it really adds a lot.
I am also using the Fishing in Skyrim mod as well. I haven't used all of it's features yet but the mod author created it in memory of his Fiancee who died suddenly and tragically. I think it is a charming tribute to a young woman's memory ^_^

Why does this meeting to kill the first dragon always happen at night
I felt that Sheapoint Dragon wall looked particularly good in this light
I got a red firefly for my lantern
The torches can make a huge difference inside ruins
This dragon made quite a dent in the landscape when he landed
My new character seems to have a way with the ladies ^_^
Under the Bloodmoon
After the Bloodmoon
The details in this Draugr are superb (this was taken seconds before he woke up to attack me )
This friendly and protective thief followed me from Mistwatch to the outskirts of Whiterun and killed 3 wolves and a spider who attacked me (though he did run away from the assassin LOL)

The Bloodmoon looks awesome. I've only done that quest once so far
I'm pretty sure that Draugr was one I killed last night and gave me a heck of a fight AND he was a Deathlord with a Draugr Wight along for company as well.
The red firefly lantern looks much nicer than the normal one. I'm going hunting...

* I agree with Maigrets, the Bloodmoon shots are awesome looking.
* The one with the Draugr has great detail alright. Although i do not wish to get a mod that robs them of it...there are times that i hate the fact that they can use Fus Rho Da.
* Also the red torch bug lantern does have a very nice effect, but it looks like it has a smaller light radius then the other lanterns. Or am i seeing things that are not there?
As for the first Dragon fight at night, just make sure you sleep till morning before you go talk to Farengar after the Dragon Stone quest in Bleakfalls Barrow.

Thank you ^_^
Fessels I have not changed the light range on the Bug Lantern from default yet - there are several brightness settings available , and I have tried going to the Farengar at 6 am, 8 am and just after 9 am o_O
Maigrets I believe that there are other colours of bugs available too but I haven't yet seen them ^_^
