I just happened to be browsing the Top Rated MW mods at PES and since we don't have to login I'm getting what I can before they disappear or something. I think most of them are probably on MW History anyway.
Galsiah's Character Development
Yeah it is on Modding History, as a matter of fact there are several version there...even Galsiah's Character Development Lean v2.03. And there is a link on that page that leads to Jac's site for a v2.04 Lean version. I have used GCD in the past but for some reason it quit often caused problems for me. It was around that time that i found MADD Leveler. It does not work the same as GCD but i still really like it. Madd Leveler does automatically raise stats when called for and it does uncap the stats and skills, but it does not automatically raise your characters level when 10 points are reached.

I miss the very much improved combat and some of the fantastic mods, but not the problems that always crop up with boring regularity after a seemingly predetermined point. I was only thinking yesterday that I might start it up and see what happens, but I'm also reluctant because I don't want to start over again waiting to hit that point of no return, or try an existing character and be annoyed.

Sometimes, for me it's better to remember the good parts of a game and leave it behind rather than persevere. "IF" Bethesda ever sent out a final patch, and they said it wasn't impossible, (but is now unlikely I imagine) that fixed some of what I believe was broken in 1.9 (since 1.8 was almost perfect for me) it might change things. I did save the 1.8 core files so I could revert if I wanted to and I have old versions of mods backed up so if I get a mad urge one day I might give it a try, as long as I don't go online with Steam. Whether some mods are backward compatible patch wise is another thing, but I have old versions of most that I use.
Indeed the combat system from Skyrim is what i really miss at the moment in MW, but it will get better the more i play MW. :) Personally i doubt they will bring out another last patch, usually once they have merged the forums as they are now then they no longer bring out another patch. ( That is how it went with MW and Oblivion as well. )

The MADD Leveler sounds better actually. thanks I always wondered why Bethesda thought the x5 multipliers were a good idea. In fact I prefer the way other games level you using XP points so you can put them into the skills and attributes you want instead of spread around several things but nothing specific.

On another subject- Oblivion. Have a look at this and be amazed..... I've been waiting for version 2 and here it is. IMHO the NPC's look better than Skyrim. I thought version 1 was incredible, but this is a step beyond.

Your welcome. :) And i agree, playing a game that uses XP points instead of like Morrowind and Oblivion is better. Bethesda made a step in that direction by removing the multipliers in Skyrim, but they should have gone further then that...oh well maybe in a next TES game. ( If they will make another that is. )

A lot of those do look great indeed, although i think that the big eyes on some of the Elven pictures look creepy.

lol, yes will need a bit of leveling before tackling that one. Looks good though so I've downloaded it for future reference. So many mods to try...

I don't remember much about Tribunal and I don't think I even did much before moving onto Bloodmoon which was even harder. We can be werewolves again though so I'm looking forward to that.

Here are a few i made a few days ago, Corael is closing in on level 7 already because of the Mod The Sable Dragon. ( I have not done any Guild or Main quest missions. :) )

One Sable Dragon mission led to Ghostgate...luckily not inside the fence.

And another Sable Dragon even led to the Erabunimsun Camp. ( If that is the correct spelling. )

Nice looking armour. :) I like the idea of spears as well, and keeping them at a distance....lol.

Yeah i like the look of that armour as well. :)

Spears are very useful and i do like them, but it is only one of the skills Corael uses. :)
