Sure would like to help. I will need some time to refamiliarized myself with MAX (haven't needed it for a while since it's not very user friendly for architecture). Also I haven't done modding before so maybe we should start with something simple and unimportant... I wouldn't want to drag the project if it turns out I'm no good by your standards.

I've been too busy with school and I've put off learning modtool till the december holidays (something to take me mind of hte heat). Till then I'm limited to only CS stuff, but I know how to make buildings like, a, smart person.

very well done. The wooden sword is meant as a joke of the guildmaster is my guess.
btw are there historic references to the two handed swords? They seem too cumbersome to wield in a real fight. For example the Scottish claymores seem a lot lighter.

Other than that they seem pretty cool (Berserk inspiration, right?)

EDIT: Yes, sorry I saw the original sword, definitely Berserk, I thought you came with that design yourself. Doesn't diminish the effort put into the models though. Once again very cool stuff.

ah, but great swordmasters in the past were going to war with wooden swords and killed a lot, the most legendary swordmaster in japan fought all his life with mostly only his wood sword just to piss off everyone, mastery..that is.. In the hand of the right person, it can be as deadly as a real sword...

yes it's not actually quite balanced and I am aware of it,..

Berserk is probably the inspiration that inspired the smith..I guess.. not sure about it though.

Just a thought: make it a sword with enormous damage potential, but veeeeerry slow. or maybe a script that lets you wield it properly only if you have strength above 80 or something...

A Japanese swordmaster could probably beat you with a stick, yet giving a wooden sword to a pitdog seems like a joke. Maybe when the blademaster gives it to you he would say something like "try not to hurt yourself with it"...

yeah well designing the exterior I was of course thinking about the interior..

it's just not done...there are 5 rooms..

1- front shop, is a small room where the client is greeted, the cheap weapons will be displayed there..

2- behind that is the forge itself (the workshop),

3- over theses two rooms in the middle of the tower there's a high ceiling room with a staircase that run on the walls

4- the living quarters. there will also be a toilet on this floor...;)

5- The 5th room is the small shack house that is on the side of the tower and that will most probably be the place where the expensive weapons will be displayed.. and the rest of the cheap ones.

@StarX the forge tower isn't new... (probably made it while you were away last summer) ;)

I could start some work on the front shop (first impressions). I have a unique style, and you may like it or not. I'm good at manoevering furniture to fit tight quarters, but I'm terrible at dealing with large floor space. What style of building is the interior?

Also, here is some work I did for morrowind.

Cool work.

but actually as the interior ins't done yet, how would you go with it? Better wait till the interior is made. But that isn't really something I have problem doing myself..it's not very long to do.
I had this model untextured here since a while and today I started to texture it.. only the blade and leather parts are done here..
