that a model that could already look cool with a good texture..
the proportions are very cartoonish, ( but I guess it's your intention/mandate).
some things look like they have more details and some other don't have it..some thing's like cylinders..the little chimney look like it's using more polys than it should, some cylinders look very round while other more big are very low res..
the rope are much too thin...the balloon is very round...a form with a lot fewer polys, squashed and strapped with ropes in the texture would be more convincing than the egg shape we have here...
keep going you have still 1400 polys you can use, and more if you optimize to death..
cool start!

Thanks and yes the style is cartoony. I agree the ropes are to thin now, well I got still time left to fix that

I'm working on a CM companion mod right now. Ain't she sweet, with her Curved Dagger to cut out your lungs?
No drooling please!
She will have a little background story and probably a small quest. She also travels the land, as I don't like NPC's hanging around in an inn waiting to be picked up by the player. She's got personality! Woohoo for Ursula Darkmoon!

Ursula?
ouch what a name...
hehe
although I like the curved dagger as a weapon, I'm not sure it fit her style...too damaged.
something more like a Necro Steel, or a Seaward Cutlass...
She a Redguard? doesn't look Redguard.. more like Imperial right? or Breton..

Heh, not sure about the name either. She's a Redguard, but the Seaward would be nice indeed. Redguards can make for real goodlooking NPC's, with the right facial texture packs (Enayla's with Improved Facial Textures FTW!)

Other mod, indeed. But I used it on a low cut version of the exnemised DB armor. Looks very nice.Mormacil wrote:Other mod, retexture of DB armor.
BTW: Released the companion yesterday and gave her the Seaward as Waalx suggested, fits her very well. The armor isn't included, but whoever wants it, just send me a PM.

Heh, I have an account if that's what you mean.. Most stuff is far to unrealistic in my opinion, scampy clothing ets. It's great they exnemised vanilla, OOO and Frans though!Mormacil wrote:Why aren't you on the EyeCandy forum StarX?

Yeah for a while we tried more realistic clothing but we couldn't find a modeller willing to make it

Yeah, now the japanese even make the famous schoolgirl-looking outfits.... jeez, who the hell wants that in his game. Unless you have some weird fetish for CG chicks wearing them...Mormacil wrote:Yeah for a while we tried more realistic clothing but we couldn't find a modeller willing to make it

sadly, the fetish thing is much more than schoolgirls outfits...so many mods are exactly showcasing armors that fetishists (sado-maso) people would wear in real life to have what they call a 'sexual encounter'.StarX wrote:jeez, who the hell wants that in his game. how many sane people would choose to ride into battle with only piercing in their nipples and brows? I don't get it.
why are these armors that are just unreal bands of metal that cover less than a freaking bikini so popular?
ah yeah ..because they can be done in 3D?
it's not because you can do something,.. that you should...
@ StarX I like her name better now than when you baptized her Ursula!

I reckon you could have got away with that curved dagger if you redid the sheathe to be black like the armor, but that's just my opinion. And on the topic of bullet proof piercings; http://www.cad-comic.com/comic.php?d=20070922

Well as a user and one of the oldest EyeCandy users I sort of feel obligated to show you not all stuff by Exnem is skimpy unrealistic stuff. I mean these armors make sort of sense
