I was cleaning out my mods backup folders of junk and old mod versions (yes I'm a pack rat) and came across this cartoon that I downloaded ages ago. It's not very clear but I did enlarge it a bit.
The site I got it from is here with the click to enlarge version in case you can't read the text although it's pretty much the same.

This is me in Skyrim. No matter how I try I always get distracted and all over the place. :)

Necromancer in the making. These skeletons are created from harvested body parts and are permanent unless "killed." Can have an unlimited number as far as I know and have five atm. Need more bones...lol. The only problem is their creaking bones get a bit loud, but they fight well. This is using SkyRe perks and spells.

Five skeletons and you still want more body parts to get more...hmm i think you are well on the road to evilness.

And i really like the one called "Dusk".

Wait until I complete my road to Lichdom. Now that's going to be truly malevolent. And the dragon priest scream....always did like it.

Five skeletons sounds like a lot but sometimes some of them, or even all, get lost when going from interiors to exteriors and then I have to make new ones. Then the others appear out of nowhere...lol.

Thanks. :) The swamps around Morthal is one of my favourite areas for some reason. That and the Rift.

Well that kind of sucks, but since they have teleport powers it ends up better then before. :)

The Rift is also a favourite area for me, i guess that is one of the reasons i like Falskaar, it has that same look for me as the Rift.

Might be longer than I myself expected as the quests etc are more involved than I first thought, but very good and well done. I've had no issues. At the end I get my own customizable necromancer lair...in fact I think there are two which I may or may not use since I generally choose one house and stick to it. Otherwise I never remember where I left stuff when I need it.

This is a good mod to play even if you don't want to be a Lich as it gives you choices throughout which is a nice change to the norm.

Well getting more involved is a good thing, i will see with one of my future characters but not with Vokun-Tuz. :)

It's going to be even longer than I hoped since I need to have 100 in Enchanting to use the special enchanting tables to be able to make components for the ritual to make me a Lich. I've never got that high in Enchanting even on a mage character so last night I did my tour through Blackreach to mine soul gems to use, plus I also need them to create my skeleton followers. I'll then be visiting Septimus again to collect the blood so I can get the Ogma Infinium which will lift my levels although still not high enough. This is mainly a test of the mod which so far is very good and I was already at level 30 (only just) to start it but didn't know the requirements would be so high which is OK since being a Lich is no small thing...lol.

Anyway,

Make way! Make way! Necromancer coming through! Two patrols of Thalmor passing each other just outside of Dragons Bridge. Unfortunate that it was so close otherwise I might have caused some real havoc...lol. Then again there were so many of them it probably wouldn't have gone well. There are a lot more not in the shot going the other way.

Came across these Imperials fighting high level skeletons so decided to help out out of the goodness of my evil heart. They ran off before I could errr..."use" them and I couldn't be bothered chasing them. It's not dignified for a mage to chase his prey over hill and dale.

Darn they really make you work for the good stuff from the Undead mod. On those very rare times that one of my mage characters hat Enchantment i never got it above 40, so let alone getting it to 100?

Any way the screenshots are all great. The Thalmor are one of the main targets for Vokun-Tuz ( Even though he will join the Imperials. ), i even installed Thalmor Infiltration so that i have more of them around for that purpose. Goblins are indeed ugly as hell, although i still have to meet one in game. LoL on the puppy one, you would indeed expect the dog to run of with one of their leg bones.

Yes, the highest I think I've ever gotten in Ench is around 60 and that's with one of my higher level characters. The trouble with spamming enchanting and smithing is it gives you artificial levels which isn't great for character development except maybe to do it in the later stages and then it becomes useless to a degree.

Besides the high requirements in the Undeath mod there are few clues especially in the later part of the quests and if it wasn't for other people giving hints I would have gone a little crazy. Apparently when everything comes together it's very worth it and the actual ritual is supposed to be amazing.

I don't join either side anymore as I think the whole civil war questline is boring so both sides are my targets, but mainly the Thalmor. Take this fort, then another and another with a couple of minor things to do in between, then the finale. I was thinking about trying the overhaul for it since it puts back all the content Bethesda left out, but there are too many other interesting things to do now with more quest mods coming and of course Falskaar.

Yeah it is not imaginative so it is a great thing that ApolloDown made CWO, but there are still many people who have problems with it at the moment, ( In my opinion that is. ) so i will continue to stay away from it, but keeping an eye on it. :)

Someone has overhauled the Civil War quest-line, though I can't remember who, and it seems to have been well received.

Still on my quest to become a Lich but it's getting a bit tedious trying to get Enchanting to 100 (still at 71) and also will need Conjuration as high later to use some of those added spells. Enchanting and Conjuration don't level as fast as say Destruction so it's taking quite awhile.

The Undeath mod has a lot of bugs which is probably expected for a first release and I imagine the way Skyrim handles things like this makes it harder to create than in previous games. I haven't had most of the reported bugs, but have had a couple that were easily fixed via console.

One that is annoying me is for some reason now I can't go in water as a human or werewolf or I get a spell effect like a huge yellow cloud and an annoying sound. It doesn't show in the active effects or seem to hurt me and I can avoid water outside world if I have too. In caves or dungeons it gets to be a problem because I can't see around the yellow cloud. It's possibly a mod conflict as others have mentioned weird things when they are vampires with this mod.

People are reporting that somehow this mod is activating E3 content which messes up other quests, but I don't understand how that could be and it hasn't yet happened to me.

I'm enjoying it but I'd advise not to try it until it gets an update or revert to a save before adding it. I could do after I finally get Lich form but that's a long, long way back. I did make a special save via console, but I don't know if I want to go back that far.

Yeah, I'm going to start over completely, but remaking the same character probably as a warrior and either a Redguard or a Nord. I really miss archery and my weapons when I play as a mage. If this mod didn't take so long to get to the main part it wouldn't be such an issue even with the bugs, and it's going to take me goodness knows how long to get there that going back to a save before adding it is a waste of time. I'd rather start over clean and this time try Alternate Start.

Besides there are several mods I want to remove, a few I've been using for ages and some new. I like the Elysium Estate but it gives me a lot of lag outside. Nearly every time I exit the house I get attacked by Elite Vigilants or some other mob that wants me dead before I even get out the door properly. I'm going to go back to my old favourite Riverside Lodge. It's safer..lol....the only time I've been attacked there is by a dragon and that's after I get outside and down the road so I'm ready for it.

Another thing is no matter which mods I use to balance magic I always end up way overpowered as a mage and it's no fun almost one hitting mobs, even with SkyRe. I'm only level 40 and don't even have 80 in Destruction yet let alone the other magic skills. The only enchantments on gear that I use are to increase magicka and magicka regen.

I hate enemies with crossbows...instant death... and they seem to have laser sights and precision aiming. :???:

Oh well, back to mod organizing ... :-)

It is a shame but what else can you do, a new start is best in a situation like this in my opinion.

Well Elysium Estate also gives me a bit of lag, but mostly around the entrance. ( But it does not bother me that much. ) Riverside Lodge is a great housemod, i am still glad i found that one back then. As for being a bit safer, that must be because of the proximity of the mountains and the waterfall. lol

It is one of the reasons why i stopped playing with Kail, things became to boring.

I am also not fond of facing the business end of a crossbow in game, they hit like a 357 magnum with armour piercing rounds. That is why i am glad that there are no Ebony and Daedric crossbows in vanilla Skyrim. Good luck with the mod organizing. :)

In the end I went with a different house mod altogether, but I haven't been able to get there yet. It's called Gleaming Falls which is on the way to Ivarstead. There are two versions. One is a normal house and the other is like an open plan exterior setup which is the one I chose.

The current version of Riverside Lodge has some script bugs which I did notice when I last used it. The weapon and shield racks no longer work and people who have papyrus logging activated say it logs a huge amount of errors and has potential to cause corruption. I never had an CTD's or problems with it but I'll wait until it gets updated. I used to have an older version but I must have deleted it....typical.

Anyway, I started over and chose the farmhouse option. All I had was my rags and an axe for a weapon, but I managed to hold my own with a low level mage who had a Staff of the Familiar. I used it to take down a couple of bandits and then took their gear.

I then gave myself the beastblood and had most of the left side of the perk tree filled before I got to civilization. Thalmor, Imperials, Stormcloaks, bandits...all fell under my claws.
This is the new Alistair. He's a Redguard - Barbarian class. Level one.
