Waalx, I think your mods ROCK, you're really, REALLY great at making those awesome items! I can't wait until your finished! I hope you'll make the mod as customizable as possible, so you can choose the cool stuff you like.

For example Mormacil said he likes another Mythic Dawn robe more, then he can maybe disable that part or something.

But I'm impatiently waiting for you RealSwords mods, WAC mod and your armors mods.

you could just not replace the ones you like with the new ones, I don't have any replacers, except for the Exnem body mod, and some clothing and armor replacers that make it fit the new bodies. But to each his own.
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

Question for our man Waalx here : I was wondering if you had an approximation of how many weeks (days maybe ;) ) of when WAC is gonna come out ? I want to download some big (probably conflicting) mods but if you say that WAC is gonna come out in 1 or 2 weeks, i won't download and install all that for this small period, see ?

Booyakasha!

Still working on the thing..

here are some new screenshot

first something I've been working on last week for WAC. Goblin camps. Much bigger than the usual campsites in Vanilla, these places are dangerous, mucho gobbo in those.

And, here's the thing I was thinking about while working on the first few camps (I have five done + a town in progress). About half the camps in Vanilla are generic or empty, or very very easy spawning only one or two chaps. What I'm thinking about is to redo a certain number of the vanilla camps that are basically boring. I went through each one and in the UES WIKI and sorted that around 15 on 32 are either empty, or almost empty, and not related to quests.

So I would choose most of these 15 and revamp them into either Goblin camps, or Bandits Camps that are a bit bigger in size and challenge.

I don't know if somebody did an upgrade like that to the campsites... ?

so here's the Goblin camps shot... (On the forefront of the first image is a new ebony armor I made yesterday.)

other two , that I have no image yet are East-Bay is to be made, and Black Boot is the fifth.

Other than that, the mages are almost all done. And I also went ahead and grafted bags on the belt of some armor types already. Ebony (like above), thief, DB, Legion, Legion Dragon, Imperial Palace, Steel, Fur, Townguard.

And last is inside a Goblin Chief tent...shaky camera is because I was being eaten by a shamawan.

Image

working on the completion of the thing and making it bigger at the same time.

No date of release, no idea!

but...who know? I may have something fer ye soon. ;)

More I see this the more I think you should just hold out on all your mod like the Mandaliron armor, gladiator, mage, etc, etc, And just make a HUGE mod that add all of them into one like a HUGE Oblivion face lift.

damn... i really have to say: I love it. Everything.
I play Oblivion for now more than 200h (even if xfire says sth. different) I already tested more than 200 Plugins yet. But I have to say: what I saw here, I never saw before. As I would say in german: "Da geht mir echt einer ab!"

I totally disagree.
1) It takes a lot of time to make
2) I don't like it all in the same game
3) I like to have a choice in what I get, I never use large overhausl for that reason, to much crap I don't want to have.

I'm totally on the side of Mormacil for the following reasons:
1) I tried to install FCOM and it's just a real headache
2)If someone just wants the creatures, he can
3)Now it can probably fit with pretty much everything, because it doesn't change everything

About compatibility, i want to know something. Is there someone who would be interested to work on a compatibility patch for the Unique landscapes and WAC's spawns ??? A lot of people have them, and i really want them too, but Waalx already told me that he's not sure they will be compatible. I'll gladly put time on this if i'm not alone !

well I had this idea of making a giga pack overhaul kind of thing...

after all is done, The Chronicles of Steel, Gladiator, Waalx Wizard & Warrior Wares, H.U.T and WAC. Could be made into a unique something maybe, WOO - Waalx Oblivion Overhaul :P

well I'm redesigning many landscapes spots with WAC too. I don't just drop a Goblin camp down...

I'm just touching around the camps though, so that shouldn't be that much problem.

But the spawns, to check everyones of them will take a while I think... I have over 940 new spawns placed so far, and it's not finished.

:-)

let"s see about that later. Compatibility with other mods will come after.

:D , now there are epic goblins.

It'll be fun to take those robes into battle, and totally fry all the goblins in like 5 sec. with Midas Magic.

Quick suggestion for the 'destruction' robe (skingrad?) although it may not be your thing. I've seen armors with books chained onto the pauldrons. Perhaps you could do the same, but maybe not chained. You simple have a book, open at a certain page facing outwards and stuck on the shoulder. Imagine its the type of thing that would enhance the wearers magic abilities.

Hmm, 'spelltomes' on the side of the mage attached to his belt :)

Look, I normally don't gush like a schoolboy, but dangit, waalx, what you're doing is flat out awesome.

Are you running for President, by chance? I'd vote for you over Obama or McCain anyday. Any chance of starting a 3rd Party? The Oblivion party, maybe...you can even pick a mage as your running mate, I wouldn't care......

Yo! I'm new here so, hi all!

Ok firstly, wow Waalx your mods are quite the sight, I love the swords and your armours are looking good too.
I must say i think so highly of the way you've done these its making me want to be botherd to get up of my ass and
make mods based on the stuff i did concepts for way back when.

In fact i may just do that, but ill have to re-draw the concepts, lol. Heck I may even post some here for your opininons.
And may even ask for help in some areas.

Good luck with the rest of the work were all looking forward to them.
