Bosmer are special :) I admit they're short and have annoying voices but that's just the bad stuff. Facial features are beards, strong jaws and a big nose. Not to mention the custom to eat every living thing the kill, be master archers, life on an entirely meat based diet and life in total anarchy.

Thanks for eyes. Makes them so much more menacing ;)

I understand what you saying Alex...well except that part
If everybody can have the same beards, variety is out of the window
But yet it all goes out of the window as I want my Dark Elf to wear other thing than Fu Manchu beard...At the end you do what you want...but I have to have a grey beard for my semi dark elf character...So I guess I'll have to do that myself...
Still WAC rocks...

Here's a patch just for you. Hopefully you will get what you want with this one.

WAC - DunmerBeards

if the beard you want isn't in this...just tell me.

Cool Alex,

I appreciate that thanks a lot

Man...you're a nice guy...

EDIT: I am keeping on playing with WAC and it's close to extraordinary...I've met a white mantis and it was mean. I've also met those marauders and I really enjoy killing them and take their armors...Those armors are net...My character is wearing those...(+the WAC beards)
:-) :-)

Here are a few quotes I found that can be added to the Arena...

First one is from the page Washington sent me to. However it's not really about the arena, it's about 'one that make a plan only when too late'.

Gladiator in arena consilium capit.
The gladiator is making his plan in the arena(i.e., too late).
-Seneca

This one is quite fitting.
ALTIUS, CITIUS, FORTIUS
Higher, faster, stronger
-Motto of the olympic games

This one will be written somewhere...
Feliciter!
Good luck!
-Unknown

This one could fit..
qui ascendit sine labore descendit sine honore
who goes up without working for it, comes down without honor

This one is a classic arena quote. I didn't want to use if before and still don't now as it's something the NPC should say, and this research is for things written around/on/in/somewhere in the Arena.

Morituri te Salutant: "Those who are about to die, salute you"

This one is so-so...
" Mal Pericolosam Libertatem Quam Quietum Servitum" : "Better Liberty with Danger, than Peace with Slavery".

this one will work.
victoria aut mors "Victory or death!"

Now I'm asking myself how I will add the quotes.. shall I insert them in their original Latin form, or in English? I'm greatly in favor of the Latin version, as it could then be used in games with other languages without hurt (as Latin is a dead language). Also the quotes sound quite exotic in Latin but not much special in English...

(Feliciter! or Good Luck! ?) I rest my case.

I think that one doesn't really belong; I'm not sure about elder scrolls, but insofar as the real world is concerned, the vast majority of Roman gladiators were slaves. A quote like that would just be out of place.

better liberty with danger (gladiatorial game winner), than Peace with slavery (lifelong slave).

In my opinion it work.

As for the vast majority of Gladiator were slaves, that's the common ground, however, some historians say that it was hardly the case.

1st Most gladiator games were staged, and very few were mortal combats, it was part of the show. The first gladiators games were in fact to honor a dead one, and to provide him with a small group of followers in the after-life. When the games became bigger, it became staged with fake blunt weapons and fake blood. Publicans knew about that, yet they still adored the games.

2nd Most gladiators that were worthy of the name where privately owned fighters, some where slaves, but most were also Romans of low society rank that fought for a Patrician master.

Me too I thought they were all slaves, it appear that it wasn't exactly like that. This is a misconception that is probably once again due to Hollywood and their way of changing history to make place for more romance and craziness. :)

I started to have read a lot about gladiators now... hehe

I found some latin quotes in my textbook of latin and on wiki. I think that some of them are quite fitting. I definetely vote for latin original to be used in game.

Audaces fortuna iuvat. - Fortune helps the brave.
Fortes fortuna adiuvat. – Fortune favours the strong.
Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. – Seize the day and place no trust in tomorrow.
Per aspera ad astra. – To the stars through difficulties.
Ubi est concordia, ibi est victōria. – With a cooperation to the victory.
Vivere militare est. - "To live is to fight!"

Got to trying out the new alpha of WAC last night and had some issues with frequent CTDs.

Eventually I tracked them down to WAC - TCOS.esp. I've cleaned the file but the CTDs remain, even when in non-vanilla cells, with no other actors around (i.e. not near anything TCOS touches).
With the file enabled I CTD after a few minutes.
With the file disabled I... don't crash. :-o

My load order is extensive and I know for a fact that TCOS has extensive conflicts with other mods in my load order, so I can't say that there's anything wrong with the file, my game just isn't happy trying to deal with all those conflicts I guess.

I've got the mod running on 2 PCs though both have barely any mods and I've only seen a CTD three times. On the older PC that uses the most mods. The CTDs are surely caused by a modconflict.

I vote for English...Not that I dislike latin, I like it I've learned it...However
1) latin is not unterstood by everybody, english is
2) latin is not TES
3) I thought the Imperial language was ENGLISH and the Arena is in Cyrodiil which is the Imperial land...
3) if you want to add some RP stuff like language to be research etc... by those who play...I suggest writting it in Daedric or in Elfic (those are available if I am not mistaken)

my 0.6 cents

For better or worse that's very definitely not true in large chunks of the world.
I probably vote for latin over English in this context, but I can't say I mind hugely either way.
