Allright, I'll back off :)

I'll let the dead rest in peace and write about the swords instead ;)

I've thrown you a stick over at "Vocha's Playground" ;)

Are the books going to be like this in the game? Couldn't you please consider us "outlanders" who find it difficult enough with ordinary english and make an alternate version with normal english in the books? It takes me about twice as much time and ten times as much effort to read a "waalxified" chronicle than a normal one.

That destroys the entire atmosphere :P Btw it doesn't take me any more trouble and time then reading old dutch.

This part of the forum hasn't been updated in a long time.

The texts are in English in the latest version. Only remain of Waalx speech is when he speak his own dialogs in the stories. Otherwise the rest of it is in English.

'Waalxification' became this minimal at one point as I noticed that same thing. It's fun for one story, but for the number there is in the Chronicles it's best to tone this down.

There may be one or two stories that will remain like this, although they will be unique items you will find doing the Chronicles of Steel quest.

What is in the game for the player to read is explained as being a contemporary translation/edition of what once was the Chronicles of Steel.

Sounds interesting..
Translations of the original. Like, the original versions might give you important information or a higher skill gain while translated versions are watered down, with translations that are not as accurate as they should be.
Maybe parts are left away.

I for one, would love to go seek these famous original books. A big quest for just one book? I would do it. :)

That's a relief. Now that you mention the lack of update in this side of the forum, how is the Chronicles of Steel coming along these days?

Go see fer yerself... viewforum.php?f=7

Actually, CoS are in hiatus since a good while now, as I lost my writers to real life occupations...

Vocha is back since last week though.

Er... I don't appear to be upgraded, it still says I need to be "granted special access".
