Yes, I've seen Raxa, but he didn't follow me and he was alone. Are you sure it was Raxa at Pell's gate? Just wondering because there are the same wolves in various places and they are tough for a low level character.

BTW Has anyone come across the white tiger on the Skingrad road coming from from Kvatch? Run like hell if you do, but he'll probably see you first.
Yeah i am certain it was Raxa. When i first saw the red maned wolf i thought it was a standard version and that it would attack so i drew my blade and aimed the crosshair at it to attack when i saw it was named Raxa. After that i left him alone since he did not do anything to me until the moment i mentioned in my previous post. :)

And yeah with my previous character i met a light colored Tiger in that area. I was walking around when suddenly *roar*...WHACK. I am not certain whether it was indeed white but it was pretty light colored for a Tiger. I hope it was not based on your Avatar because it did lose in the end. And i really hope that i do not meet it for a long time with my current character, because i use nGCD this time through and as a Hybrid Stealth/Magic he does not have as much health. :) (While my previous char by the end of the game hat well over 500. )

I believe Raxa belongs to the smith in Leyawinn. She always joins my char after fast travelling and leaves him when entering an interior cell or a town. Good to know that you observe the same "feature" , Fessels. At the first moment I feared a strange mod interference with my other animal companion mods - Shadow Ranger and RUP, a really nice german horse mod - but they seem to work very well with WAC. (By the way, i saw maned wolves in the zoo and they stank like hell. ) Raxa attacked my char only once during a chaotic fight, so it could have been a reaction to friendly fire.

Anja, Toc Toc murdered a Bravil Guard, I don't know why they started to fight, normally he is a well behaved raven, maybe sometimes he acts like a capricious diva, and he hates cats (the small ones).

ROFL.. I've had that tiger avatar for years, perhaps even since the beginning of Oblivion. I rarely change it because I like it and I'm too lazy to find something else. :)

That shouldn't have happened because he's Player Owned and his script tells him not to attack friends as well. Maybe it's a faction issue between the player and that particular guard. Or he just didn't like his face. Did it cause the rest of the guards to attack you or him? Hopefully it was a one time incident. :)

I haven't come across problems with cats either, but I've been spening a lot of my gaming time in Elsweyr lately so I wouldn't have seen it.

Are they the pet cats or ones aggressive to the player? I'll have to check it out later. Sometimes the game's AI goes screwy for no real reason.

Good to know indeed that you observed it as well Salimbene, with Raxa i mean. :)

And i am 99% certain that Raxa was still behind me when the Worg attacked and when i hit the Worg with my blade. If in that situation Raxa would have been hit(The remaining 1% :) ) then maybe she has a big hitbox around her that overlapped with the one from the Worg? But would it not be the case then that i could not have hit the Worg, i am certain that i did hit the Worg ones before Raxa attacked me as well? Oh well it was not a real problem, (for me) just weird that it happened.

Toc Toc normally ignores guards and vice versa, so it must have been the face. :)
With the cats I am not totally sure, seemed to be a non-aggressive cat. The smith in Border Watch has two pet cats. I will make an aggressiveness-test, when I pass this region again.

All my companions are player owned as I said, which means if an NPC or other creature has a problem with YOU, then the companion will have a problem with IT. Like a guardian angel. :)

The cats could be a faction issue so even if they don't attack you, they may not like you and would attack if you looked at them the wrong way... A bit like real cats sometimes.

It could be interesting to check if you got a bounty when Toc Toc killed the guard, unless of course no-one else saw it. Or if you have a murder added to your stats list.
I'm not sure if that actually happens, as I've never checked, but making companions player owned gives them all the rights and privileges as the player, so it theoretically should transfer to you. That also works if you attack friends or guards yourself or are generally an evil type. The companion will protect you even though it's programed not to attack friends. Whatever you do affects the companion.

They won't squeal on you if you steal though as they have a responsibility of zero, where NPC companions will report you depending on their responsibility level.

I haven't had time to play the last few days, but I'm going to try tonight and I'll investigate the cats if I remember.

Anja, I have to rehabilitate Toc Toc. The pet cats are the thugs. They knocked out my companion wolf Willi too.

Those darn cats. I still haven't got to test them out myself, but now I'm warned. I think my panther might give them a run for their money though. The fur will fly! Toc Toc isn't as strong considering he's a bird. :)

This might interest you, but I don't think I'll try it because it basically suggests NOT using most of WAC's esps and I don't want that. There doesn't seem much point in doing it if you can't use WAC fully.

Someone was asking about using the old OOO/WAC patch with the current Beta, but the way one player suggests configuring it doesn't seem like a good option to me. And I'd have to start another new character and I don't need anymore at the moment.
http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php ... -with-ooo/

I think I'll finally give up on the idea of OOO and WAC unless someone makes a new patch that doesn't interfere with WAC so much.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and decided to register to download this mod it looks very good, adds a variety of animals and creatures, the truth and was sick of hunting the same deer, but apparently I have a little problem with textures or meshes with the goblins, honestly can not be happening.

Catches the problem.

How strange, I never have seen such errors in WAC before, Smoking.
If I remember well these lila things are a sign for missing textures. Maybe your download is corrupt, or the installation is uncomplete. The shape of the lila things is strange too. Spells, which the Greenies use? But I don't know if spells have textures?? There must be people in this forum, who knows more than I. :?
(My second idea was a dying graphic card, but a graphic card normally dies with much more colours, so don't take this idea too serious.)

My guess here is that you have 'artefacts' caused by graphic card. I used to have them with my old one.
This is characteristic sign of it.

Mmmm ... I would say it's not the graphics card, I just about this mod, if you disable this problem does not happen, nor in any other game I pass something like this.

I've not seen it either, but I have seen it randomly with several oblivion mods.

Usually reloading fixes it.

Or maybe something was corrupted in the download and you could try that.

I've seen that in my game. Except it's nowhere near as large and noticeable. I noticed it on a few of the greenies' feet after beating a few of them. Basically just pink strands like in the second to last image near their feet, smaller than in that image though. I had thought it was a missing texture or something, it's definitely not a video card issue, and it was so small in my game that it didn't bother me enough to even make a note of it here, heh.

I reckon that you don't get that without WAC because WAC adds many more things to the scene that help overload the GPU.

Maybe you could open a thread on Bethesda's Hardware and Software forum and ask their opinion?

Notice that the photos I post are like a slide, these purple lines only happens to me when I approach the green gnomes, which are the ones off (if I leave them enough purple lines disappear) that location is exactly the Anvil dock, when I approach the stone of destiny that's when you have this problem.

I've just ran out of ways to die in my personal series, #101 isn't WAC related, I should probably just re-name the series 1001 ways to die. lol

WAC is truly awesome, thank you very much Waalx!

PS: I have many more WAC images, I figured 10 was more than enough for now. :)

Great pictures, true highlander.
The third picture reminds me of a book of fairy tales, which i had as a child. Its pictures came with the same bold colors, a lot of forest animals and a kind of Greenies called "Wichtel".
One thing I like about WAC is the variety of deer, gazelles an other hoof animals, especially when you can see them in herds.

Code: Select all

I have many more WAC images, I figured 10 was more than enough for now.
No, not enough. You should post your other 910 WAC-sceenshot in the Screenshot thread next door. 8-)
The screenshot with the crocodiles is my favorite one, it could have been from an asian book of fairy tales.

Psymon wrote:Unfortunately with the new beta release I'm having bashed patching issues.

the bashed patch error:

From what I can tell this is very similar to the vampire eye issue. The race that is having the issue is 0Beastmaster and that is from the WAC -Gladiator.esp

If I understand things correctly then I need to either assign a mesh to the eye texture or reassign the eye for that race. Unlike the vampire race issue - deleting the race from the esp does not seem like a good idea as it seems it may be used.

So what do i do? Currently not using the Gladiator esp so I can bash patch and move on.
Psymon, did you ever get past this? I am having the same problem ...

See post number 34 on page 2 of this thread: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/t ... -wac-news/

I tried the second of the 2 fixes posted there for the gladiator.esp... Didn't try in game yet since I didn't start the new game I'm planning to play yet, but rebuilding bashed patch worked fine after doing that so I guess it'll be fine :)
