Questions being asked and no answers given..as expected. Other modders seem to think the dialogue bug from 1.6 is fixed, but none of the other reported bugs have been, like script errors and save bloat, as mentioned in the linked thread, which is potentially game breaking.

Xbox users are still wanting to know when the serious quest issues, among other problems, are going to be fixed for Dawnguard. There are a lot of upset Xbox users wondering what's going on as I read their part of the forum.
Some people say Bethesda shouldn't need to communicate with us, but personally I think it's damaging for any company not to at least give a full changelog of patch updates, and for goodness sake an answer as to why bugs that are fixed by modders ie the USKP are not addressed by Bethesda themselves. Particularly the quest bugs and the save bloat issues that the USKP fixes and things that modders can't do themselves. Other people also say we are lucky Bethesda patches at all since many companies, (including Bethesda and their previous titles), abandon their games after this length of time after release. Maybe we are lucky, but the patches have introduced bugs and then they have to patch again to fix those bugs. Adding gimmicks to take the focus away from the problems instead of really fixing things and leaving it up to modders is not my idea of support.
This is giving me a headache. After having said my game is running well I now have corrupt saves again and random freezing the more I do in game and the higher level I reach. When this 1.7 patch comes out of beta we'll all have to go through the tedious task of updating mods and micro managing the game ...again. The modders themselves have to update first and a lot of mods possibly won't be because modders have left the scene or for other reasons.
I really, really don't want to have to start over again, and if I want to play I'll have to as their patches are detrimental to saves on previous versions, unlike games of yesteryear where you could patch and continue. The days of being able to revert patches has long gone as well which is another huge pain in the rear.
My interest is waning very fast and going back to a vanilla game isn't very desirable.
