Introducing Za'Ari, a Dagi-Raht thief. Just starting out but I've done the first cave and a few other small things around Seyda Neen.

I chose the more human looking face, not because I didn't like the more beastly ones, but I like this one more. Just one pic so far.
Image
Current Load order: Bold entries are non overhaul mods that I've added. A couple like Metal Queen Boutique and Gothic Attire I left in from before. I didn't get around to checking them out and I couldn't be bothered removing them because there are too many loose files. Another character can use them if Za'Ari can't.

I'll add some quests and probably armour and other small stuff later as I mainly wanted to see if the game worked with these new additions...lol.

Oh, and I didn't use the Immersive Chargen because another mod adds an item to the Census offices - a Dwemer clock which I really prefer to have so I can see the time when enemies are around. I don't know if it would be compatible. It might be since it's placed on the table just before leaving, but I'll try that another time.

Nice...looks like she has vicious claws. :)

Yeah i have a Dwemer Clock as well, but it is a long time ago so i do not know whether it can be used combined with Immersive Chargen. On another note, it looks like you need to clean a lot of the mods?

What do you mean clean a lot of the mods? How can you tell that by looking at my list? :-o I've only been getting mods that say they've already been cleaned in their readme's or on their page, ie at MW Mod History which is good for that, because I don't feel like cleaning any that are dirty. I don't download any that say they are dirty unless it's something extra special. If any of my current mods do need it, which I doubt, it would be something harmless and it can wait.

If you mean the ones that say "Clean" in the name it means they have already been cleaned and that's how the author's named the esps.

BTW, I see that the Arena mod was updated and the changelog says it adds some missing files.

Well it has been a few years since i used Wrye Mash so i do not know if it does the same, but in Wrye Smash for Skyrim a mod that needs cleaning has a stripe under the name of the mod. So if Wrye Mash does the same thing then it might be good to check all the mods in your load list above that have a stripe under their name? But be careful when you do clean mods, some mods do require GMSTs, so i guess that as long as there are GMSTs and they are not one of the "Evil" GMSTs leave them be. ( For instance i use Darknuts Greater Dwemer Ruins, and he mentions that his mod should not be cleaned. )

As for the Arena mod update, well that might be why i hat that void area after i removed it, i will try out again in the future but not now. :)

 I put those lines under the names so you could see them better. :cheese:

I started over again because I wasn't happy with the class and stats I chose but I hadn't done much and now I'm a lot further and having a ball. I also changed Za'Ari's face a little so it's darker and furry...lol. Will add some pics tomorrow though.

Yeah that is something we have to get used to again, since Skyrim does not have classes like MW. :)

You got that right and I know many are glad of that, but I think it makes my character feel more "real" when they have a class and specialized skills. My Dagi-Raht is a thief, but there are a few other traits I'd like her to use so I have to make choices which is what rpg's are about. Thankfully, there are plenty of trainers and they are easy to get to, at least the lower level ones, so it's not too hard to train in other skills, if you have the coin...lol..

I must say I do like the MADD Leveler. I'm still level 1 so I don't know what happens when I reach the next level, but I've already had upgrades in Agility and Endurance, that I've noticed, by using my skills which is much better.

EDIT:
Revenge! Cliff Racer Armour. I downloaded it but probably won't use it as the author himself says it sucks...lol, which I imagine means it's stats. It looks OK though.

Good to see you like MADD leveler. :) When you reach level 2 then you will have to meditate(sleep) like the vanilla system, but you will not have to worry about getting a +3 or +5, you will only get +1. Many will think that you will level your characters attributes to slow, and although it may be slower then vanilla...the attributes do get higher between levels so it mostly levels the same. Only less stress full since there is no pressure for the +5 or so. But i am curious...why did you not choose to also use the MADD Health plugin as well, it is useful for every character in my opinion?

Maigrets wrote:EDIT:

LoL i wonder how the cliffracer would react if you fight them while wearing that armour. It looks good, but i wonder if they would be horrified or if they would laugh themselves to death because they know their hides suck as armour.

I read it as being a "sample" esp for checking in the CS how to make it so I left it out. ;-(( It says the same for the MADD Caps.esp so I thought they weren't actually meant to be used. I suppose I can add it in now without a problem but I'll check the readme first. I just reached level 3.

I just had the strangest error and crash. The game was trying to load a mesh from a mod that I'd removed before starting this character and it's definitely not in the meshes folder so has never been used with this character. The error text gave the correct path as if the mod and files were still there but they are not. How it can try to load something that doesn't exist anymore and has no reference.... :-o These games are weird. FIXED.

I'm probably going to have to bite the bullet and remove the mod that adds a lot of generic NPC's to towns, or lower the overhaul settings, or both...lol. My fps particularly in towns has dropped to the teens, which isn't ideal. I think the NPC's will go first as there are too many really and they don't actually do anything besides walk around the place and in some cases get in the way. They don't have extra dialogue or anything.

Balmora is the worst though and many people had issues with it even in vanilla. I did see a mod that removes a lot of hidden, unused meshes and extra rocks and things that were just left underground around Balmora and which is supposed to help. I might give that a try as well. I know there are places in Oblivion, for example the area around Anvil where lots of unused meshes weren't removed and just left underground so it wasn't seen in game. It all adds to the fps.

Some screenshots.
A new look. Almost the same as before but a darker, furrier face.

Guar rescue. His name is Muncher and he ran away from his owner when a Nixhound attacked them. It's from the Traveling Traders mod I think. I remember it from years ago. Guars are so darn cute. I have a pack Guar mod that I used years ago that adds a small, one which could also come in handy to carry stuff.

This is one BIG Khajiit.

Kitty chasing a butterfly. These cats look almost real in game and will chase a butterfly or a ball if you watch them.

She looks better now with a bit more darker face, and that is indeed a big Khajiit. ( Or your character and the other are just really small. :) )

My character is small compared to the other normal races, but I think that's also because of the bent knees, which give me pain to just look at.

Even though I prefer the "beast" type beast race it still seems odd that they are so bent legged, even at rest. There's no center of gravity so when just standing they look like they should be falling on their backside. In real life it would cause terrible back and leg pain if one tried to stand or walk/run like that for any length of time. I can't play in 3rd person and watch her run...it looks so painful. :-(

Are you not playing? Or just not taking screenshots?

Well i actually did play a bit of MW and i have a few screenshots which i might place. But on Thursday i saw a Steam GiveAway on a forum i visit a lot for the complete Left 4 Dead 2 game, and i have been trying it out the past few days. Installed a few mods and such...and shjees that game is so different then other games i played in the past with or without zombies. :) There is no save possibility so you must play a particular campaign in one go to get the achievement. The AI Director makes changes to the game every time you restart, so things are never the same as before...and the share speed and amount of the different types of Zombies.

Left 4 Dead 2 sounds challenging. I was going to get it a few years ago but never got around to it.

Added to my MW load order - Persuasion Response Expansion V4

Making progress and have reached level 12. I'm working through the MQ, Mages Guild and Thieves Guild as well as starting House Hlaalu. I have a companion called Julan who is an Ashlander and has his own set of quests that run alongside the MQ and are excellent. Fantastic mod all round. I've also done a lot of exploring and general sight seeing as well as dungeon raiding.

I have a long, long way to go yet and am certainly looking forward to it more than any recent game I've played in ages. I keep thinking about getting back to Oblivion and Fallout NV but MW has got me at the moment.
The Ashlands
Image

A Bard. I enabled the extra animated NPC's in the Overhaul which places people around doing things like fishing, begging, playing instuments, with the music, and several other things. Nicer than just having extra generic NPC's that do nothing but stand there.
Image

Vos. High in the Grazelands.

The Grazelands with a Daedirc ruin where I prevailed over TWO Dremora and their summoned creatures, one a Golden Saint. I wish I had had a soul gem on me. :-(

Another general shot of The Grazelands. A very beautiful area.
Image

Cat up a tree. A very large scratching post.
Image

The Sixth House rises. I'm using a mod that adds things as you progress the MQ. Graffiti on walls, newly placed statues and later random attacks and other things.
Image

A sunset in The Grazelands. I spent quite some time there exploring and admiring the landscape.

I am getting so nostalgic for Morrowind looking at your shots Maigrets :)

I saw the "Skywind" progress video earlier today. It looks incredible and they now have a team of 70 people working on it. Apparently when the MQ is able to be completed they will be moving it to the Beta stage :)

Well, it's been quiet around here, but this is what's happening in my corner of the globe.

The weather report from my corner of the world. I live somewhere in the cluster of 47c and 48c temps and it's isolated to my state made worse by a tropical cyclone in Western Australia. Five straight days of this and higher temps... Birds are dropping out of the sky and native animals and stock are dropping dead everywhere. Not to mention half the countryside is burning due to lightning strikes and the usual scumbag arsonists.
I :???: hate summer.
Image
Anyway, I have played MW a bit and am progressing through the main quest. I've been infected with the Divine Disease, Corprus, and have been cured. Now I just need to convince everyone to name me Nerevarine and that I'm destined to save the world. I've done the MQ once before that I remember, but there's a lot about it I'd forgotten.
Ald Velothi in the rain. I had saved a woman from Daedric cultists and was taking her to her husband, but I got distracted by a cave. I told her to wait and then forgot about her because the cave had an alternate exit. She's still waiting somewhere on the road. I'll get back there one day - she's in my quest log..lol.
Image

Found the Mudcrab Merchant. (he has 10,000 gold) It was sheer luck I didn't kill him by accident. One mudcrab looks like any other, although he didn't aggro my companions or attempt to attack me. I vaguely remembered something about him from years ago but i thought he was in a totally different location. He has "interesting' dialogue and is an alcoholic.

Lovely shots, it looks like you are making great progress with the MQ :)

Here in the UK we seem to have nothing but wind and rain most of the time. My garden is a total quagmire and my flooring is covered with mud from bouncing dog paws LOL

I totally fail at having any understanding of these arsonists o_O - we get them here too in our summers. I can see no reason of any sort for that type of behaviour  :x
