Im having probelms making my own animal mod

Ive edited the rats body to make a ferrets body but I can not get it to show up?
I'm going out on a limb here but it might be something to do with the normal maps if you mean they don't show up in game. I had those issues with my companions using WAC files, so you might want see if that's the problem.
Otherwise I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but someone else may come along with a solution.
