Yeah those heavy script mods can cause a problem or two from time to time, both with playing the game and with savegames. I do not like that, but there is not much if anything that i can do against it.

 Thanks, Ailsa. Another year closer to the century...lol.

Yes. I think I'm going to have to start over. After 75 hours of problem free play, I sorted out the mouse problem by disabling mouse acceleration in the ini and the long loading times seem to be fixed, but now I can't get anywhere near Rorikstead from any direction. The game just exits to the Desktop. I can see Alduin in the distance raising a dragon, but I can't get there.

It might just be an enemy spawning issue or something, so if I try getting to Rorikstead again later it "might" let me. Fingers crossed.

I seriously think spawn points and their related scripts can really get overloaded. I have found that if I see butterflies etc ahead of me that if I stop for at least one hour game time and then walk I can normally get to where I am going. It seems that the games' clock wants my character to slow down sometimes :-o

Well well, in that case...happy birthday indeed Maigrets. :)

As for having to start over...dang that sucks, hope you get it sorted out with Rorikstead so that you do not have to start over.

Updated to 1.8, and got rid of the ENB mods because for some reason they just never seemed to look right for me. What I have done is install Project Reality- Climates of Tamriel (Weather and Lighting), Skyrim Flora Overhaul (not the very hi rez version though) and Lush Trees. The weather variations are just amazing and the landscape is too beautiful to believe in a game. If it would only look as good in screen shots as it does in game.

I thought I would get a drop in fps with those mods added, especially with all the plant textures on top of all the other texture mods I have, but I can't say I've noticed anything at all really. I love how it looks so real now.

I found a new dog companion called Spots. Initially I couldn't have him and Meeko, but I found a little mod (on the Workshop)that allows me to have more than one animal companion as well as NPC's if I want them without all the extras I don't need. I also have Vorstag who is very good with the bow, and sword, if necessary, doesn't start fights due to friendly fire OR injure me like the mage followers do with their overpowered spells.

Anyway...

At the burial mound.

The resurrection. Alduin raises another in his army of dragons. I was finally able to get to Rorikstead so who knows what the problem was before.

Surrounded. Unfortunately, Vorstag and the dogs kept getting knocked down, (those werebeasts are strong), so I had to dismount to kill them. :ninja:

I think he's annoyed that I woke him up.

Always amazed that arrows can "kill" skeletons and I didn't get the arrows back.

Thanks, Ailsa. :)

I thought that as well as my PC is a few years old now, so I was surprised that it does handle those mods. I was fully prepared to have to remove them. The thunder storm sounds scare the heck out of me though...lol.

We had a massive storm here last week, more of an electrical storm without the rain or very little anyway, and it was terrible. It lasted all afternoon and well into the late evening which ticked me off because I had to shut the PC down as the power had already gone off twice, and I didn't want to tempt fate a 3rd time. The lightning started a few bush fires which is a sign of things to come in the coming months. At least natural causes is a change from arsonists. I hate summer... :x

So do I. Several ancient woodlands here in the UK are still recovering from arson attacks about 5 years ago now :-(

Armoured Skeletons summoned by the Lich in the foreground. Made for an interesting fight in close quarters as the Lich summoned more as the skeletons died and they are harder than vanilla ones.

Sleepy time bear. He's a summon but likes to take a rest when things are quite...lol.

Critical on a spectral dragon. He's hard to see and summons another dragon in spectral mode.

That skeleton is not having it's day, and lmao on the spectral bear. Your character stands ready to fight and the spectral bear thinks..."To hell with this...YAWN.."

Shouted off a cliff at Arcwind Point. I hate those Deathlords with their Ebony bows. :???:
Image
The impostor. Aspect of Alduin from Deadly Dragons just outside Solitude.
Image
Fried Deathlord at Skudallfn. I also used the Storm Call shout as I already had one word and it works quite well, especially when there are no friendly people around to be struck down.

Nice fish dinner. This the second time I've seen a shark, but the other one was in a lake, not on a table. :)

Elk (I think) near Autumnwatch Tower.

As for the first one, yeah i truly dislike them as well.

The second one, i really like that one, it looks really ominous like that. And the one with the Elk( Possibly :) ) on it is also beautiful.

Thanks guys. :)

MasterAub, wow that's a bit step. Just moving house in the same town or at least the same country is a major thing let alone another country. Best of luck and I hope it all goes well. :hello:

I finally sorted out my mods list and started a new character. The mod list gets longer and longer, especially adding in the lighting mods you recommended Fessels. I really, really like the lanterns along the roads.

Anyway, this is Maeve, a Woodelf who specializes in archery and a bit of a Jill of all trades in others. Currently at level 21.

I haven't joined the Companions this time or any Guild actually, except the Thieves since I get ambushed into it Riften and whether you refuse or not the quest stays active anyway so I may as well do it again. I normally do anyway, but I've never got as far as being named "Chief" officially because of all the special jobs I never complete to bring the Guild back to glory.

Waiting near the Skyforge.

Fighting Alduin's raised dragon Sahloknir. I always wished to see more of Alduin in the game besides when he raises a few dragons. That part at Kynesgrove is one of my favourite scenes.

In the cabbage patch. I looked but there was nothing under the leaves. :) When we were kids our parents told us we were found in the cabbage patch. :cheese:

Alchemist. I have some favourite recipes for poisons and buffs.
