Lovely shots - the dragon-riding one is superb :D

I am beginning to be tempted to look into getting the DLCs - you are getting so much out of them :D

Thankyou both. :)

Yes, Dragonborn is very good for the most part. The main quest seemed to be over very quickly though. Very short really and the main antagonist was hardly seen, much like Alduin who is the biggest bad guy, yet we hardly see or have any involvement with him. There were very good side quests in DB with more content. No spoilers so I'll say no more, but I wish it could have been bigger as I liked the atmosphere and Morrowind feel.

Anyway, I've uninstalled Tropical Skyrim for the time being until it gets it's updates which could be awhile. So now I'm using Vurt's Flora Overhaul - Summer Edition as well as new rock, mountain and cave textures.

thanks Fessels.

It's mainly the MQ that's short, but it's not bad at all. The whole DLC is excellent so I'm sure you will enjoy it. They stepped up the puzzles and enemy types and a of other things. As I said I wish Dragonborn was bigger because it was more interesting in some ways that Skyrim itself.

I spent over 25 hours there and I completed everything I could find, although I have a couple of quests that took me back to Skyrim, so I'll be revisiting Raven Rock soon and this time it will be snowy in the mountains...

Also you may recognize a particular Dunmer character from Morrowind, and he's voiced by the same actor. In fact some of the best voice acting is in DB.

Very nice screenshots Maigrets, all of them...and you make me want to roleplay a magician...

To Fessel, go for Dragoborn, the return to Soltheim only is woth getting the DLC...and I think the price on Steam has gone down.

You could go there and look around though and actually there aren't that many things in the wild that will catch you....if you're fast enough  I think you should at least visit Raven Rock and let us know what you think. From memory, you need 500 gold for passage there and 250 to come back.

Well with over 55000 in gold i guess i could miss that amount, i will see when that can be done. I first need to finish a quest for the Companions. :)

Yeah, I've got 163,000, an amount I've never even come close to before. I buy arrows and gear for my followers, other expensive crafting gear and still have all this gold. I even donate to the beggars when I'm in town. That's what the vanilla economy does for you. It's ridiculous. This time I haven't purchased any of the houses except for Breezehome and I keep telling myself to stop picking things up, especially gemstones, but it doesn't last. I can't help myself. :-o

Dragonling got a bit close, but he died as he fell.

The Lion's Retreat. Nice and shady. A good place to avoid when you're alone.

Donating some blood to open the door. Not quick enough to hide the HUD.

I accidentally froze my Dremora Lord. With a spell, not the shout though. Just taking a break while it wears off.
Image
This was an awesome moment. I was on the way to Karthspire and was attacked by a Magma dragon who shouted meteor storms, among other things. I thought to myself "I wonder if I can command him in combat" with the shout from Dragonborn. And, yes, I could. I hopped on and off we went circling and flaming all the Forsworn while they couldn't do a thing about it. The sky was red, flames were everywhere and it was just fantastic. 'Rock On!'

LOL, Not as bad as accidentally healing the enemy in battle instead of my followers, even though they are essential. Just makes me feel better for letting them get hurt, especially the dogs. :cheese:

Thanks. :) Yes, I was so happy with that last one as it looks great full screen I'm thinking of using it as my wallpaper.

A few shots from the Wyrmstooth mod which is excellent. I've spent ages there so far and have more to investigate.
What are you looking at Mr. Deathlord? (Guess who is on the left  )
Image

Oh! A little spider....
Image

OK. Listen up! This is how it's going to be. This will be a long and dangerous campaign. Archers to the back, swordsmen to the center, dogs wherever they like, and of course myself at the front because I have no choice and am designated leader. Let's move out!
Image

The heroes of Wyrmstooth. The warriors I was asked to help out on our mission.
Image

Wagons with Imperial soldiers coming to help fight the dragon and save the town. This looked great with the horses trotting along the road. Looked very natural.
Image
I would have gotten some screens of the dragon fight which was easier than it would have been because I had Dragonrend. It still took awhile though. But, the game stopped responding a couple of times during it and I had to exit and start over. I'm pretty sure it was because there was so much going on and my PC protested. Half a dozen soldiers, myself and my followers, the three enlisted and some others all fighting at once as well as spell effects etc. Third time was fine.

Great mod and story, very long dungeon. I'll definitely play this one again.

Thank you. :)

A couple of these are from the Much Ado About Snow Elves quest mod which I thoroughly enjoyed and some (well one so far)are back in Solstheim for another visit to finish a couple of Radiant quests where I needed to get something from Skyrim. To my surprise I've discovered a few other quests that actually led on from these, so I'll be there for a few more dungeon runs at least to retrieve lost artifacts. I thought I'd found everything to do, but it seems there's more, which is great.
First time I've ever done this quest as I usually do the Civil War, but this time I couldn't be bothered. I did manage to keep Riften for the Stormcloaks if only to stop Maven from becoming Jarl.
Image

Stray Werewolf.
Image

Slow Time...my favourite shout as a mage, especially when you're surrounded by Deathlords, although this time it was ghosts.
Image

Strange door encased in ice. Fire melts it though.
Image

Falmer on ice.....my ice and they didn't like it..lol. Part of the quest reward for the Snow Elves mod is to do with the Falmer, but I won't spoil it. Bit of a surprise, but I haven't tested it out yet.
Image

Hmmm.... what is this strange room?
Image

A sad ghost approaches and is compelled to attack.
Image

Back in Solstheim and the enemies have evolved to higher levels since that was many levels (and hours) ago at 39. Now at 59, nearly 60. I also forgot......must not use fire on Ash Spawn...they love it. They surprised me by jumping out of the ground literally right in front of me.
