Thanks Ailsa and Fessels. :)

I'm pretty sure these are the last screenshots with Ivonne the mage as I now have the "forever loading screen" trying to get back from Solstheim. She's level 60 which is the highest I've ever gotten a character before losing interest and wanting to start over, and I must say I quite enjoyed playing a mage for a change. It's not worth troubleshooting why I can't get back to Skyrim when I've been back and forth a few times without incident, so it's time to clean out some mods, introduce some new ones, think of a new character name and start over.

This Savanna, a Breton warrior who is mainly an archer, but does uses swords and some Restoration and occasionally Alteration for the Stoneflesh spell. She has progressed far enough in the Companions to become a werewolf and she will remain part of the pack and not be cured.
This was taken in the testing room where I gave her a makeover, so the lighting is crap. Her skin looks like it's dirty but in proper light it looks as it should.
Image

Just found a cool shield on a Skeleton hero who was a pain to take down. The shield must have been added by the Armoured Skeletons and the Walking Dead mod and it's light even though based on the Daedric shield. It suits Savanna's style as she's walking on the dark side now as a werewolf, and favours mostly black in clothing and armour.
Image

Another tiger picture as I was ambushed when I coc'ed to Whiterun from the testing room. They are right at the point where I spawn. I died of course as it was quite a few levels back. Next time I'm teleporting to Riverwood....
Image

In the swamps at night. Just across the water is a huge panther and I can hear him growling but he doesn't attack. The combat overhaul I'm using makes it so animals don't auto aggro and will warn you off which is just as well because I couldn't see him in the dark at first.

Skjor is dead. We mourn his passing by taking revenge on the Silver Hand.

Werewolf Kill Cam. Didn't know they had them in the game.

All great screenshots, and Savanna looks really great and menacing with that warpaint...makes the eyes more prominent. I especially like the one where she poses with the new shield. Do you use that piercing mod i saw on Nexus not to long ago? And LoL the Tiger looks like it is trying to High five Savanna.

Nydaoni kills the Silver hand where ever she meets them as well, despite not being a werewolf yet. ( I still need to do a few radiant quests and wait a few days before that will happen. ) As for the Werewolf killcams...yeah they have been there from the beginning. But there are not many killcams for werewolves, only 2...maybe 3. Still they are pretty brutal killcams.

Thanks. :) Yes, I am using the piercing mod. It only uses one slot so you can't wear more than one item and mix and match freely, but there are sets.

I had big issues with the radiant quests where I had to intimidate someone by brawling. There's a bug, which I haven't seen before since it's a long time since I took part in a brawl, and it's game breaking and annoying, because even if you unequip everything the opponent will go aggro and draw his/her weapon and initiates real combat. I looked it up and it seems to be wide spread so it's probably something introduced in one of Bethesda's patches and affecting mods unknown to the mod authors themselves. There's a mod for it, but it also seems to have stopped working since the 1.9 patch according to the comments.

I eventually had to do the quest again with Farkas and made sure to save before asking for work so I made sure to ask Aela for work instead of Farkas. I then got an animal extermination quest which did work properly. Otherwise it just kept happening. I did read it's something to do with hidden spell effects and scripts, but whatever it is only Bethesda can fix it, I believe.

Thanks for the link but I already had it downloaded and read the comments as I said. I was dubious about using it since people were saying it doesn't work now. I won't need it again anyway as I don't usually bother with brawling, although I might use it to pull that racist Nord in Windhelm who bothers the Dark Elves into line.....and Degaine, the beggar in Markarth who I despise. I give coins to all the beggars except him. He can starve.

LOL - I read the comments on mods but often give up after reading too many un-helpful ones. However a couple of modders recommended it for players in their readme's so I thought they might know a bit better than some other people ^_^ I always felt that brawling wasn't very well done in the vanilla game but that racist Nord in Windhelm made me look for a fix LOL

I am so loving your shots in your current game.

Thanks. :) The tiger and leopard are from Prides of Skyrim. It adds lions, panthers, tigers, leopards all over Skyrim in appropriate places and believe me it adds quite some danger to the land. Lions roam in prides, but panthers are usually solitary. Excellent mod.

Do you know how much I hate mages when I play as a melee character. Especially their frost spells.....
All I wanted was a hug... :-(

It's OK. It's OK! I can't speak at the moment, but I have a message for you. You need to go to Whiterun to join the crew heading to Wyrmstooth to kill a dragon.
Oh, and thanks for not trying to kill me.

Leaders of the pack. I'm not using the Wolf armour because it's heavy so I gave it to Vorstag. We both have the Companions capes though.

Excellent shots :D

I dislike the Wolf Armour because it is heavy, and also I feel the design (vanilla) is poorly executed.

Well i actually always liked the Wolf Armour, and i wish they hat made a shield for it as well. But my character uses another Heavy Armour that is much better then Wolf Armour so i do not use it simply for that reason. :) And is that Hothtroopers retexture of the Wolf Armour?

So did I until I saw the retextures, but I haven't really looked for anything else suited to the Companions. The vanilla version as with most of the armours, except maybe steel and leather, are poor. I do like the Orcish if I play a heavy armour character though. The thing I really dislike is the "boob" plates. While there needs to be room for them, lol, the way they are modelled is ridiculous.
And is that Hothtroopers retexture of the Wolf Armour?
It's the retexture by Cabal120 (aMidianBorn). It's hi-res but it doesn't seem to have any noticeable affect on the game. I'm also using some of his other retextures and they are all based on the Official Hi-res texture pack. I ran the Texture Optimizer but it didn't make any changes to these.

I'm finding my werewolf to be quite weak to anything but lowly bandits, but I imagine that changes with Dawnguard and the Perk tree. It seems confirmed that on June 4th it's there will be a "Legendary" Edition release of the game with all DLC's so even though I have Dragonborn I'm going to get it for the mod opportunities if nothing else. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/ ... y-edition/

I hope Bethesda fix the lip sync and eye bugs (no blinking)they introduced with 1.9 in the meantime. I thought it was just me when I noticed the very obvious delay with speech and lip syncing, but it seems it's another bug.

By the way I've added in the Hanging Gardens quest and squished Nimhe, but I need quite a few more levels and then continue the MQ to Blackreach before I can see if it works. Call me persistent...lol.

Yeah Dawnguard improves the Werewolves, but at higher levels they still do not match with the enemies you meet. This is why i use mods that improve the Werewolves. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with being persistent. :)

Oh and thanks for the link to the retexture. As for the Legendary Edition, well yeah i saw that, but it also comes with Hearthfire, and i have no interest in Hearthfire. :)

It's a bit disappointing that werewolves are so weak when they are supposed to be just the opposite as you see in movies where they are ferocious monsters that rip everything to shreds. Besides that they are so small, but that's a limitation of the game engine. When I'm in werewolf form I'm still the same size as the bandit in my screenshot and I only killed him with help, although he was a boss level.

Yeah, I have no interest in Hearthfire either except it does add some things modders can use. The only good thing I suppose is it's something for console players who get the short end of the stick, whereas we get a smorgasbord of mods to use. Getting married, adopting kids and playing house is too much like real life for me, but it might not be so bad if the kids didn't look like clones with different hair styles and the same voices. I find them a bit creepy.

Love the new avatar by the way.

Love the new avatar too...

Werewolf seems to be an option for me as well...but first I finish all quests but the companions with my warrior then start a magician and then come back with my warrior as a companion and a werewolf

I can't believe this. I just hit level 25, went to Markarth and the Hanging Gardens quest still won't start. I give up this time. :-( At least Wyrmstooth and Much Ado About Snow Elves are still working and are worth playing through again.
