It does look nice but my preference has always been the W.A.T.E.R mod.

Well every one has a favourite. :)

I have tried W.A.T.E.R for a while in the past, then i found Pure Water and after trying that one out for a while i decided i liked it better. So who knows what will happen now with Realistic Waters Two, only time will tell. :)

I am sorry to hear you have such stuttering, i really hope you find a solution quickly. :-(
I had some problems with optimizing BSA's. Some have names that are too long and the program errors, but I'm going to try renaming them and see if it works, then change the name back again after. The main issue with doing them all at once (as suggested by a S.T.E.P. thread) is one of my mods, after optimizing, causes the game to not load any save. It gets as far as the loading screen, but stops responding immediately. It took me ages to find out which one it was and it turns out the mod was Improved Eyes.

I ended up processing the BSA's a few at a time and testing to see if the game ran and that was a time consuming experience. The program also won't compress or process the vanilla BSA's either, but that probably doesn't matter so much.

I'm yet to really see if it makes things better since messing around with this took most of the evening into the early hours.

Well, I think I'm making progress as it seems much better. Some lag/stuttering is still there but I'm now thinking that's script lag. I have the ini tweak enabled but I don't know it it's really doing anything and some people say for some it can make things worse so I'll try without it as well.

I actually got back 2.5GB of free space by optimizing the BSA's.

It pains me to have to remove mods that involve scripts, not just because it can ruin saves, but because I like them...lol. However, one that I will be removing and thankfully it can be disabled via MCM until I start a new game is Realistic Needs and Diseases. It's scripts run constantly so it would be adding a lot to the load. I do like it for a few reasons, but now it's just annoying me for several other reasons. The author has done a great job and it does what it's supposed to, but something like it would have been better integrated in the base game so NPC's use it too or at least it's not so player centric.

Anyway, enough of my complaining again... :-(

I was thinking about removing Immersive Armours because realistically I only use one or two and many of them never seem to appear on NPC's so it's not like I'll see them wearing it and I don't change my character's gear very often.

BUT, I was just looking at the mod page and a couple of days ago it was announced that version 1.7 is very near and it adds over 20 new armours, 200 shields, and a number of other non-set items. It has me curious at which armours they will be though. Would be cool if they were new, never yet seen but that's asking for a lot...lol. The size of the download is going to be over 2Gb :shock: so they have to split the BSA's.

Yeah Immersive Armours is on of the biggest mods out there, if not the biggest. Hopefully the new armours are indeed new ones, we will just have to wait and see. As for scripted mods, yeah it is a culprit for lag alright, that is why i am getting a bit nervous with what ApolloDown is doing with Dragon Combat Overhaul. I get the feeling that version 9 will be quit to very heavy on my computer.

Well, I guess we (or me lol) don't have to update DCO. The version I'm using is 8.2 which without checking, is probably a bit behind.

If only I could "NOT" kill dragons while they were still in the sky so they haunt me with their bones everywhere I go. Console to the rescue...lol.

It certainly makes dragon fights interesting. I've learned how to avoid being ragdolled everywhere, but last night I had an epic fight which was partly due to Deadly Dragons as well, I think. It was at Arcwind Point where there are also a ton of Immersive Creatures beasties as well. When the dragon (Elder) got to low health he went berserk and created a storm of ice and frost which was almost impossible to avoid no matter where I ran, and there's nowhere to hide...lol.. I tired that three times before I managed to kill it.

I've seen other dragons do that near death, but frost is the worst. Luckily, I had a Frost Resist necklace 40% which helped.

regarding sweetfx I think the best settings are the ones you get with the Ultimate Lighting Overhaul mod, look for that on the Nexus. there's various presets to suit your taste :)

Yeah i looked at ULO and it seems to work with RLO, but i do not use the weather mod they are making for RLO so i have no idea how it would influence Summer Skies. I would also have to give up the Antilag mod or HialgoBoost. Also i am not sure how it would make my game look due to the fact that i also use Imaginator. Perhaps i will try it out in my next game.

It this mod...

It a easier way of limiting the FPS for Skyrim so that you do not have to use a program like Nvidia Inspector. :)

Well i read that some people mentioned that, but i also remember that i saw posts from people who said it is working for them with SKSE, and although i did not post in there i use SKSE and it is working for me. So i guess there must be something else contributing to it not working for other people, did you try it out and noticed it did not work for you?

didn't try it yet, but maybe it only stops working after a certain skse version. the latest is 1.6.16 which is the one those people reporting issues seem to be using. are you using an older version?

Well according to BOSS my SKSE is up to date, and both the skse_readme and skse_whatsnew back it up. ( So i use v1.06.16 :) )

weird, I'll have to try it for myself I guess. I'm a little reluctant because hialgo doesn't play well with enb fps limiter and this is of course very similar.

also it's pretty old, I think you would achieve the same with enboost fps limiter using waitbusyrenderer=true

Just rename the d3d9.dll of the mod i linked to something like d3d9fl.dll and change the orange coloured text below to what it shows, ( with of course your own renamed d3d9.dll. ) in the HialgoBoost.ini

[PROXY]

EnableProxy_xinput = false ; Set true for x360 controller emulator.
ProxyLibrary_xinput = xinput1_3_other.dll

EnableProxy_dinput8 = false ; Can be used to load ScriptDragon etc.
ProxyLibrary_dinput8 = dinput8_other.dll

EnableProxy_d3d9 = true ; Can be used to load Standalone SMAA, SFX, FXAA post-process injector etc.
; DO NOT USE this to load ENB!! Use enbseries.ini to load d3d9_hialgo.dll
; instead
ProxyLibrary_d3d9 = d3d9fl.dll

I know that, what I mean is that hialgo readme says not to use enb fps limiter and antilag is also a fps limiter :)
