This looks interesting. Mind you it's by the same author who removed his mod twice, but this time since someone asked about it he says he won't do it again and it was trolls that caused it. That's not going to change so he better get used to it.

Seasons of Skyrim

Anyway, since you like winter Fessels, this looks more extensive and maybe nicer than the one you're using. I prefer the summer one myself and it looks like he has overhauled that as well, especially the water which looked a bit over blue. And both versions have alternative textures for choice.

I'm going to DL before he changes his mind again, but will wait for the COT patch before I try it. He also says in the comments that whichever water mods people are using will still work if loaded after his mod.

It looks a lot nicer than the previous versions and not too resource hungry from what I've been reading.

Seasons of Skyrim was built to replace Skysummer so said the author. He thought Skysummer didnt look as good as he wanted it and what with the countless bugs he decided to just scrap it in favour of this new project. :)

For a better look at what it entails this video is very good. I like it, but now I'm torn between summer and winter because they both look fantastic.

That was indeed a good video, he seems to have toned down the green in this version. SkySummers grass hat a lot more brighter green colour, as for the winter version...yep i like what i see. :) Playing Skyrim in a all out winter condition is something i always wanted to do, and it was actually how i imagined Skyrim before it came out. I am quit certain i will not constantly play the game in winter condition, put it really does add a lot to the game in my opinion, especially when playing with a Nord character.

EDIT: Hmm no compatibility yet with CoT.

* Alright the CoT Summer patch is out.

EDIT: By the way, some one brought out a Imperial Armour mod that looks really good in my opinion.

Very interesting house mod showcased by Gopher and is being updated because of a few things he mentioned. Requires all DLC's though.

I downloaded but now I'm waiting for the update since traffic to the mod page has increased after Gopher's review. I really like the location. It's more central to everything on the map, but I suppose that depends on whether one fast travels or not so it probably doesn't matter too much.

The most interesting thing, to me, is the sorting system which goes a bit further than some other mods that use it, or at least ones I've tried, which isn't many. The separate trophy room is very large and well set out. I also like the way the house is tucked away into a safe, secluded area.

Jaggarsfeld

Thing is, no matter how many house mods I try out I always seem to revert to Riverside Lodge which has a basic sorting system for some chests, so it's not a high priority to me really. I don't spend enough time in the houses to really appreciate the work that's gone into them, and I know from Oblivion days how time consuming that is, so it's lost on me I guess.

ok here is my latest mods list. I even made an excel spreadsheet with all the link to TesNexus. You can call me mad or nerd :anyone:
Next step I will start to download the mods so I don't waste time when I get my new computer in December. Obviously I will keep looking for mods during my "waiting time". Some of you may wonder why Realsword Nord does not appear or the Andragon weapons mod. The answer is simple: I am going to start my own Overhaul using those two. In fact those weapons are so nicely done that most of them deserve to be hand placed appropriatly by me. Some will end up as "unique uniques" (quest rewards) and some be placed on some NPCs around Skyrim or in some of the most obscure places.

Anyway here is the "final list" for now
70 mods, a round figure if you ask me oups no more now we are at 73
Oh and I've yet to pick from a "combat" mod...I'll keep you posted :-o

Great list. :) In case you don't know you should get the version of Jaysus Swords from this page as the original has some issues. It was made before the CK was released.

If you ever played the Gothic games and since you like mages you may like these robes. Gothic Mage Robes. Male only so far but I used them with my male character and they are very well done.

Some of the armours will be in the upcoming version of Immersive Armours but there's no release date yet, just soon. I know the Bosmer Pack will be in there plus a lot of shields, and other armour packs.

EDIT:

You might like this magic mod as well. It's by the same author as Deadly Dragons and I like it more than any other I've tried. It's just had a big update today as well.

Hi Maigrets and as usual thanks for your help

I did not know and obviously the patch goes straight to my list.
Hopefully when I am about to install the mod "Immersive Armors” it would have been updated so I could kiss goodbye some of the Armor Mods of my list. Thanks for the heads up.
Was not really aware of "The Forgotten Magic Redone" mod...and since it's approved by "grandmeistress" Maigret I HAVE to give it a thorough look. ;)
Again thank you for genuinely helping me built this list.

LOL, I'm not trying to influence you. Just some suggestions that I like and I'm a bit fussy as to what I keep and what I try and later discard, which can be a problem with Skyrim, especially scripted mods. :P

Now, here are a couple more. :)

I use these sound mods even though the new Audio Sound Overhaul seems to be popular but it doesn't suit me and requires patches for a lot of other mods like COT and other popular ones. The magic sounds in this mod, especially fire spells, sound like ballistic missiles and really out of place IMO. Fessels was using this one but not sure if he still is.

The mods I'm linking don't require any patches except one for myself since I use Skyre. They are by the same author and he is going to be working on other sound packs as well if he doesn't change his mind. However, you can use AOS now with this as a patch is supplied but I choose not to.

Immersive Sounds Magic - I love these sounds, they are subtle but very fitting and I only just discovered he has updated. The video showcases the new spell sounds very well.

Hehehehe Maigrets you can influence all you want, after all it's not a political statement it's just a game we are playing on our free time

"Sounds", yup I haven't started touching upon that area. However it is such a crucial part of the gameplay.
I watched oups :sorry: I listen to Audio Sound Overhaul on some youtube video (gopher & brodual I think) and could not stand some of the sounds like the archery related sounds and the fire spell sound which is too artillery like IMHO...so this one is out.
The immersive sound magic & Immersive Sounds - Weaponry and Archery seem really interesting :arg: I am being influenced again, damned!!!
Me think they are going to my list lol what can I say they are just great mods.
Was I the guy who wanted to keep it tight around 25 mods...those days are gone lol :-o

On another subject:
@ anyone who is using Safety Load. Adding link so I don't have to explain it...lol

I added it because my PC needs all the help it can get and the mod has tons of endorsements and comments to say it works, although there are people like me whose game is worse since trying it. I'm getting the problem a few people are mentioning re crashes when accessing inventory or the MCM to configure mods which makes things really difficult. Inventory crashes are random and I've never had that or the MCM problem before so obviously I'm going to remove it as my game was running better before.

@Fessels...I think I saw your name in the comments so I guess you're using it. Related to the other question you asked about random mini freezes and the possibility it was MoMod.... I think I added Safety Load at around the same time as MoMod and that's when things started going downhill. I got to almost level 20 with a smooth and almost perfect game until then so it's interesting that the problems started around that time.

As well as the inventory and MCM issue I'm still getting the awful mini freezes and stutters after removing MoMod so your problem might be the same. Anyway, I'll report back tomorrow or next time I play without Safety Load and see if it improves. I'm getting on well with ENBoost so I think I'll just stick with that.

Yeah i am trying out Safety load indeed, and i started a completely new character without MoMod and also still get those freezes at times. At the moment i am completely at a loss as to what mod might be causing this. Until about a few weeks ago( 2 or 3 weeks. ) i never experienced these freezes...and although i can continue to play afterwards it freaking annoys me as hell. ;-((

lol, now you know why I'm always complaining... :P

If it's not Safety Load then I don't know what it is. I haven't played again yet without it but it's probably a shot in the dark expecting an improvement. I'm starting to think the more you do and level etc the more the game starts to fail. I know people will say..."Oh it's your mods" but I have no idea why I can get to a certain level with a particular mod set and NO mod changes, then it starts and nothing will fix it. We all know it's a big game and the more you do the more the game has to calculate, but it shouldn't die.

Save corruption is the easiest thing to achieve unfortunately and I think sometimes crashes themselves cause corrupt saves. For example..in Fallout New Vegas if the game crashes the previous save might not load or will crash on loading even if it was some time since the save was made. In Oblivion we had a crash report to help diagnose problems but that no longer exists.

I can put up with some stutters and expect some crashes as it's probably a combination of mods and the game engine, but the frustrating part is how the game can be stable for a number of levels and 20-30+ hours and then suddenly go haywire...and I mean one day to the next or even the same day on restarting the game, with no changes... :( Sometimes I miss Oblivion because I never had these problems and that game was modded even more than Skyrim and problems were easier to fix.

Something I didn't think of is I still have my other character profile who was never had this problem, so far. She has 23 hours on her saves, but I can't remember the level. Anyway, I'll load that one tonight and see if it's the game itself or my mage saves are messed up.

Yeah but once that happens, i start to think..."Why can others reach the high levels using more mods then me...but i can not?" Still it happened as you mentioned more then enough.

Agreed, they made it very difficult (Compared to the previous TES games. ) to diagnose a problem.

Well, I think my mage saves are either bad or there's something else going on because I played for several hours tonight with my warrior and had no problems. It's "normal" for me to get small stutters if I turn too fast but not when mobs spawn. Anyway, it's nothing like it's been with my mage so I think I'll start her again from the save before I added MoMod. I'm still not blaming MoMod though.

I think it has more to do with all the crashes I was having in menus with Safety Load and my saves are damaged or something because the problem got worse as time went on. I haven't had a menu problem since I removed Safety Load but I still cringe when I open the MCM in case because just moving the mouse to the mod I wanted to look at caused a crash...random but annoying. One character is fine and the other isn't. :-o

On a brighter note...I found a mod that fixes the hotkey issue with dual wielding and it works perfectly. It's for hot keying any combination of items. I don't know why I didn't see it before when I was looking.

Just looked at it and it is indeed surprising it does not get more attention, especially since mitchalek made some very good mods.

Downloaded. :)

I have found Safety Load invaluable - it works really well and I have had no problems whatsoever with it and I have several crafting mods running really well with it.

Thank you for the link to the Dual Hand Combo Hotkeys - will definitely look at that ^_^

I must be one of the people as mentioned in the comments who have the menu CTD problem and the mod didn't make any noticeable difference to gameplay for me. I have great results from ENBoost so it's not a big deal.

Well so far i have been spared those menu related problems with Safety Load, but i am not sure if it does anything noticeable for me so far.
