well the rainments are replacing the original games ones, so it just can't happen that you can't get them. the mod tell the game to use another mesh and another texture for it.
that is for the two base armors: the Retarius, and the Mirmilo. The other level will unlock depending on your level as well so there should be no problem.
here's a screen of the blue team highest light armor in-game. the helm mesh clip very very little, and I have to work on that, as well as the reflectivity of the armor and steel that are too bright

Confurmilate the helmet so it's size is adjusted to the size of the actor's head. And it looks great. The Blue raiment looks much better ingame Btw how about a new arena poster with your armor?
"Veni Vidi Castratavi Illegitimos"
"why would I be bound by rules if I can see so far beyond them?"

Looking nice.
I haven't tried creating .egm's with Scanti's "Conformulator" (requires Microsoft .NET 2.0) myself but it seems to work well with many helmet and hair meshes, provided that the .nif file contains only one NiTriShape/NiTriStrips entry off course. You might want to contact Scanti and ask for his help if you have any troubles conformulating one of these meshes. He seems like a nice guy and he's occasionally around on the official forums as well. If he has the time he'll sometimes even help modders get stuff conformulated correctly in case they run into problems.
Looking great so far!
I still dont understand why the secutor helmet is placed so high on the neck, shouldn't the bottom fit onto the shoulders?
I dunno, it just seems like it doesn't give much protection.
I agree the blue rainment looks better in-game. Now I'm waiting for the Retarius pics.
It does seem like the helmet should be on the shoulders, but then your head and neck youd be stuck in place. Do you now how much that would ? It would be like not having a neck, just a metal rod in your spine.
Actually It wouldn't be that bad. The bottom if placed on the shoulders would set right onto the base of the neck, and shoulder muscles. Though it'd hinder overhead movement, it would give complete protection of the neck, except from upward thrusts.
This is why the Gladiators didn't have a long life expectancy. .
This is how it look from a side view, as you can see it is exactly how and where it should be. even maybe lower than it should be if you check the eye holes. Gladiator helms where more for show than for actual protection, as were their armors, its about style and look more than practicality. anyway the way most gladiator helm are designed, they must have a VERY poor vision. and it's made like that for that purpose as well.
posted this on Beth forum in a thread that was asking for fat people..
I'm working on RealSwords Breton. My merchant smith is fat..
it's not a body mod though, just the clothing that make him fat. of course the mesh is going to clip some..but the effect is cool even if it's clipping..I think.
Here's a screen in the CS, behold Jeremy Breon, the smith.
I will soon have a beta for Breton..available only here on the Workshop, so some of ye may test it and tell me if it has bugs or not.
I still need to bring in some blades and maces.. but it's nearly done. (for the LO version)
I'm working on the shop, and now I didn't finish the Forge Tower yet, so this shop is placed near skingrad Tamika Vineyard, up on a hill nearby, and it's only an oblivion house that I filled up from scratch. The realSword sign for Breton is in-game already though... I've got to work on the Tower later..
Sweet!
A beta is always nice
I'll test it and see, but I've been playing Dark Messiah lately, so we'll see.
Go fat breton!
Though, its kinda odd, because smiths have to be strong to hammer all day, and they sweat alot. But, it still looks cool.
Great work!
Can't wait for Breton Module.
