well actually I was thinking about it more like, the blademaster will take the sword back and exchange/upgrade it to the next level after he will give you a new rank..theses cleaver will be quest items, and only the hero and champion cleaver will not be quest item. so you can pawn them if you want to. But my idea is that the arena cleaver is your quest item in the arena until you complete it.
you solution is a lot simpler to implement, but the problem is that it dictate weapons at certain stage that most probably won't follow what the npc is supposed to wield..
like if Baurus say you are going to fight a guy with an axe and I have to give that guy the cleaver because he's the next rank..

Your option isn't so hard either, Waalx. A simple remove and add questitem after each gaining a new rank in the Arena.Waalx wrote:well actually I was thinking about it more like, the blademaster will take the sword back and exchange/upgrade it to the next level after he will give you a new rank..theses cleaver will be quest items, and only the hero and champion cleaver will not be quest item. so you can pawn them if you want to. Hmm haven't thought of that. Perhaps the cleavers are just given when you reach a new rank. You can collect them
perhaps the first sword will be a wooden one

well I want the upgrade process, it' what make the idea cool. they make your blade better. the blade will start short and will get to a two handed, and then get longer and longer with each new rank.
the wooden sword idea for the first one I like..let's see.

Slightly of topic but Quest Award Leveller fixes these kind of issues. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5701Sypron wrote:I like that idea too. Like the blade of woe from the dark brotherhood, except these will actually be good before the end.

A nice and simple bow
I like it. That's what a low level bow should look like

@StarX
I wasn't refering to the fact that the blade of woe is bad at low levels, I was refering to the fact that its a really bad weapon before its last stage, where waalx's will probably be useful at the level of the blade itself. So, looking at the most recent pictures, I'm guessing the next mod you plan to release will be arena?

yep I'm working on Gladiator and it's a lot of work...
so...I thought that the arena needed a katana, so I made one. turned out rather cool. (based meself on my Black Katana model).
The scabbard I made here is loosely inspired by the leather scabbards of the katana and wakizashi I own in real.
remark the model hilt is here very detailed, the tsuka wrapping is modeled. this was a test model for a high res katana, but I think it's still perfectly normal as weapon size...2792 tris.

This is for one of the twin sisters? I like the katana, simple and functional, like a normal weapon should be

my initial idea and drive to do the katana, was for the guy who was a Blade....I wanted him to keep using a katana, but not a Akaviri one..an arena one.
and maybe some others will use them too.
the player will be able to buy it as well as most arena weapon in the Bloodwork Shop.

is this going to be a katana without a tsuba, or did you just not put one in on this? Looks good either way, I'd show off some of my swords but few of them would make it as "Real Swords"
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

Real men either kill in the first attack of the fight or with bad luck dodge the enemies blows
