this is not a mistake, it a choice you will make. The grey prince armor is golden and red, the rainment of valor is going to be in steel and red. so it give you a choice.

give back the armor and get the steel one instead, or keep the grey prince one and have it golden.

now this is something that is very much non related to Oblivion in every aspect except one: it's an armor :)
armor isn't done yet though...and the textures here are WIP too.

A shame the current storylines make me despise that bastard more than anything else. But if the quest would involve me killing a Tweny Spark to loot his armor then i may get behind it.

ah ? update?

:P

here's an update fer ye'all.. When I presented the miotaur helm, one of you asked about the armor that would go with it...so here it is.

Minotaur armor. WIP. All new armors parts (except the boots that I have yet to do. Here it's the iron boots but it doesn't suit me) (and new greaves)...

I've been working on bringing many things in-game.. hence the lack of update.

I've been trying my own hand at 3D modeling, so I know how long it takes, take your time Waalx, we'd prefer it to be good rather than quick... though so far all your stuff has been really good. ^^
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

yes it's a bit influenced by Mandalorian armors... :)

well I thought that since I inspired myself with Boba Fett for the helm, I should continue with the armor. I didn't look at any Star wars references for doing it though. Just worked on feeling and memory.

The breastplate can look completely different with just another texture. Originally it was supposed to be a breastplate with a muscular torso, ala roman armor. Most probably will do a version like this as well.

here's the Monstro armor (helmet not done yet) here you can see the new loincloth I will use for Gladiators. it's the one from the Dwarven armor, that I modified so it doesn't clip through the legs if in sneek mode for instance. the vanilla one is clipping horribly. so the light armors get this loincloth instead of the other one. Only Light Champion and the heavy armors, will get cingulum hanging from their belts (cingulum are the leather straps like what you can see on the Minotaur Armor belt).

and something new for the arena combatants I made last week-end, healing phials (commonly called 'candles' among the gladiators). (yeah very inspired I know..it's just that I used the candles textures for the glowing liquid inside).. hehe they look cool in-game though, and not like bottled candles at all..
3 types, extremely potent & expensive, and shall make the fights longer and harder since the NPC gladiators will all carry 3 of these in their inventory.

Could be some sort of drug :D Even cooler would be if it has a statdrain after a while for a few minutes or so after you drank it like detox :P

The Monstro looks awesome, can't wait to kick his butt ;)

thought I'd bring some pics to your attention Waalx, stuff from the new Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures game because some of these pics are large I'll just link them here, but I thought you might enjoy them, especially the detail on some of these armors ^^

I especially love the detail on the Cimmerial scale mail female at the bottom, the corroding bronze is a nice touch.

the Hunter Armor...the metal texture isn't done...the breastplate leather vest either.

This armor will be released in a few days as a stand-alone mod. It will offer the 3 helms shown previously.

What kind of hunter are you talking about, because I can't imagine a wilderness hunter wearing a helmet. They need to keep their eyes and ears alert. The rest is cool tho, good work. I could imagine marauders or mercenaries wearing it.
