New here, and just surfing the forum here. I like the screenshots, waalx; you're definitely gifted. You're really fleshing out Oblivion--can't say there's any complaints about that! :D

a little more classical and realistic take on a sabertooth. That create a new cat specie.

and that bring the cats to 17 species ( with the youngs, females and other forms that the males can get it's 33 entries for the cats.) Here I created the grey Tiger too and played around with the lynx texture on the sabertooth lion. I think it fit maybe just like that. I may modify it though.

Gloomfrost is working the sounds now (in a secret part of this forum here...;) and it will be mixed on pro gears, so that should simply ROCK!

Corepc and Dev_akm will soon receive the mod, as they agreed to help with the balancing and technical aspect of the mod, something I suck at to be honest. Now I'm working on putting all the work together and making sure nothing is missing anywhere. The mod still need a lot of work before it can be played and everything is working as it should, such as the loot and stats and such. Yet I can go and play and all the regions will now generate some spawns. Still some regions that are missing more spawns but the base is working now. The 'beyond the border' work is something I have made several test for and I think I have found a way for it without hassle talking with Elminster about it. So that is something that will come later, but when I'm going to do it it will be very fast, like in the week or so after the first WAC release will come out. That should be another esp at least (6 at large) for the border regions.

it's still some time before it call be called complete, however it is really starting to take shape. And with the help of dev_akm and Corepc..well. this should be great! Only a thousand times lot better than if I was building the system myself. We are talking of an integration system with MMM and FCOM from the way the mod will be built. So that should be something... ;)

Another update on the cats

so that make 20 species of feline goodness. I remade the tiger head entirely, made a new one for the sabertooth tiger as well, one that look more level with the new Smilodon ones. The Sabertooth Lion now use a different map and it does make a difference. The Sabertooth family is now with 5 members. The Smilodon Tiger become the biggest. And.. (in honor to an old metal legacy) the Panthera, the smallest of the five.

I also made a Panther specie, a Black Otter, a Reindeer, and worked on upgrading the stuff. On this you can see the Smilodon Tiger a bit more too.

Long time, no see. Its been awhile since I've been on any modding site. haha

I like what I'm seeing, I never though I'd see an amazing weapon maker designing amazing animals. Very nice!
Black Marsh would love to use those Sharks, and crocs, etc.

Question...did you ever release the Goblin weapons?

Usually I'm more a character designer than anything else. If I'm hand-drawing it's always character design. Weapons were in fact not very much what I'm used to do...so could be seen as some exercise in that field for me, as usually I would do the 'thing' holding the props rather than the props.

Goblin weapons have been out since what..a month now?.. here's a link from my server here.

WAC will be the 8th wonder of Tamriel ! But i wanted to know something... Are you planning to add just a lot of spawns and level lists changes(items,etc) or are you planning to change like, everything in the game, a little like OOO ? Cuz i'm the kind of guy who downloads a lot of individual plugins to custom my game a step at a time... So i would be forced to flush out all my other plugins to accomodate WAC if u do like OOO. And i was also wondering if there is gonna be a OMOD install version of WAC, cuz i tried MMM and like, all meshes in the mod we're "missing"... and i'm sure that my install my ok cuz i re-did it twice. So i think an OMOD should be a good idea, it would probably be a llitte more job for you but i think it will get rid of a lot of problems.

Nope but the Dunmer are (supposed to be) next in RealSwords.

Wac is built on

- Waalx Animals & Creatures.esm. A master file that hold all the creature data, loot, factions etc.

- WAC - Spawns.esp. A plug-in depending on the master. Only for NEW spawn points.

these two together will not change anything but add to whatever is in already.

- WAC -OverSpawn.esp. A plug-in dependent on the master file, but one that include many creatures of WAC into existing vanilla leveled lists. This one will conflict with other overhauls that change the same entries.

However, Corepc and dev_akm will get the WAC pre-alpha and starting from there they will arrange it so it could be run almost seamlessly with OOO, FCOM, or MMM.

that's something to consider later. But I'm not even sure if I can do it at all. WAC is built using many of the existing normalmaps from vanilla, and if my new colors maps are not in the same folders as theses, it won't work.

Those crocs will look lovely eating intruders in BM. :D

EDIT: is there a problem with the Goblin module?
When I placed them wiht my CS they dont show up, on NPCS, or on the ground.

RealSwords Goblins gears can only be bought in that release.

It wasn't supposed to be a separate release..the change to the goblins come with WAC only. go behind Cloud Ruler Temple, there is a half-giant there that sell the weapons.
