He has a point, Waax said there would be an alpha soon and that was 20 days ago.

yeah I'm bad!
20 days already?
bah that's nothing. Wait till you see what I made in those days..
even more creature? yes (King Rat, Fear King, now at 60+ different xivilai types (of which around a dozen are full plated xivilai knights and most of the higher cast also use bits and pieces of armors too, more wolves, ....)
I also made a small script so that many creatures in the alpha (most of them the apex ones) will not react to you unless you're close to them. In example you can get a bit close to a lion pride as long as you keep a certain distance between them. Not exactly what I'm after but still a start, and it will make it playable for a new character. Otherwise, you get killed by the big stuff too easy, and unless you're level 40 they can rip you apart in a blink.
An 8th oblivion plane ? yes! (will be part of the random 7 that exist already. and maybe the start for more)
It's still red hot under my hammer.

Dude, what I think Oblivion needed was Kobold Rat-people. Maybe a rat model with...Goblin anims, and armor. That'd be freakin' AMAZING!
I like the new enemy system too, it makes the combat actually entail skill. usually it was me sneaking like 50 ft away from a monster and then sniping it down.
.
kinda off topic...WW&WW...Can you design some shaman/druid type staves for the mages? (I know you wont awnser to this, XD). But Oblivion seems to lack any type of roleplaying ability with the current staves, as they can run out of magicka, I mean like combat staves.
.
It would be awesome to play in other Oblivion realms, but not just the general BLAH RED SKIES BLOODY WALLS RAWR kinda worlds, I mean like Shivering isles only on a smaller extent. maybe you can redux the Daedra quests to make it where you have to enter their realm and talk to them directly. That would be wicked sweet.

I think I forgot to post that one here...this is the 8th plane.
So what I can say about WAC Alpha is that it's code-named "The Great Hunt", and is in a part of a realm of a daedric prince. If you can't tell, it's Hircine. The land is already half made with the other half of the new world already playable although a bit empty. It's the time of The Hunt in Hircine realms, and for this era, the prey shall be the predator (with a few exempt species that refuse hircine game request, but came anyway. Lions....! and two Fear King.)

And here are what I got for the Blue Xivilai. The red are more, and the black are less.

Add some more variety in the zombie folks.. the poor guys only had two faces in all.. I made 3 new males and two new female zombies.

And here to show the updated Fear species, with a part of the Fear King

Each update betters the next! For the Alpha, will all the land have to be complet or will you release it before the realm is fully done? If so do you think it will be released this month?

Oh! Nice idea with the elven zombies man! Perhaps some khajiit and argonian zombies as well?
Also, there is a bunch of different daedra from Battlespire that haven't been featured in other ES games. Such as the vermai, herne, morphoid daedra etc, all listed on this page...
http://www.uesp.net/battle/monsters/batmon.shtml
The herne, for example, while in Battlespire helping Mehrunes Dagon carry out his plans, seem to have more to do with Hircine than any other daedra prince. They were a part of the Wild Hunt in Battlespire and, as we all know, the hunt is part of Hircine's sphere. Finding them in Hircine's realm might make sense...
http://www.imperial-library.info/tsobs/part05.shtml
Herne picture here...
Seeing some of the other named daedra characters from Battlespire make an easter egg return in Oblivion would also be pretty nice for the long time ES fans. Characters such as Sumeer Jabran, at the bottom of this page? Or the daedra (possibly dremora or xivilai related?) Zenaida Nacarra?
Perhaps some of those might serve as more inspiration for some new daedra if you're going to make some daedra related quests? (Not wanting to add more burden to your workload though, or we might not see the WAC alpha out until sometime around early 2010.)
Oh, and one thing about the female Xivilai... Would it be possible to see one or two female xivilai variants that aren't quite so... bootylicious? A variant that looks mean and muscular but more in a demonic amazon kind of way if you get what I mean? Most of the female xivilai you've shown strike me as more trollish in appearance. Off course, if that's your artistic intention then by all means feel free to ignore me and my stupid ramblings...
Anyway, things are looking great and I'm looking forward to seeing some of those beasts first hand.
Cheers, UQF

Dude !
Are those Clan going to be as f***ing *** that those in vanilla ???? Let me explain,
. 1ST : 33 % reflect damage 2ND : Totally spamming jump that gets you wherever you stand (Hey i'm like 25 feet of the damn thing and still he smashes me when he jumps, lol again) and well, i use mighty magic so when a xilivai cast, there's 5 of the ******* that comes out ....
Ah now i feel better, i just hate them. Anyone feel like me ??

Now those variety are very nice to see , waalx. Are you going to do a version of the plugin of WAC that just adds them to vanilla level lists ? Or maybe, when i'll get it, is it easy to do ? or you'll place a animal there and it will always be the same ?
P.S : Very good search on lore , forgotten, gj !

Greetings.
I came to this forum initially because I was told of a lore-friendly version of Mandalorian armor and I was curious because I'm also working on Mandalorian armor but not Oblivion-lore-friendly.
BTW - The Hunter gear looks awesome. But as with most things I've seen while clicking away at the 95 pages in this photo gallery thread, just about everything makes my jaw drop to the ground. Great job and I'd be surprised if game development companies were not knocking at your door when you've released all of these and added them to your portfolio!
The additional zombies look great and it would be funny if you made one of them with a messed up hair texture as an easter egg.
Have fun,
LHammonds

It's been a while since the last update... Waalx must be working too hard to even comment, at the speed he usually works at, he must be nearly done
... (I really hope) btw Waalx will WW&W be a part of WAC?

Waalx was going to release his WAC mod, but apparently decided it wasn't big enough yet

No need for hurry...
He that can have patience, can have what he will...
Waalx is one of... in my opinion... the cream-of-the-crop when it comes to ob-modders.
