yep, nothing "new" to report here. Though I'd like to point out I ran into one of your Minotaurs wearing gauntlets... thing chased me off of a cliff... dropped what had to be about 200 feet, and survived :shock: not complaining, was just surprised.
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

yep. You have many chance to meet armored minotaur in WAC already in the version you have.

Armored Trolls are in the next as well. Green and Brown, their armors come in different parts as for the minotaurs, and xivilai

On top of some creatures that can be befriended on of your attribute, and a new distance script that make the big creatures attack only if your are close enough, and let you go if you go far enough from them.
Really looking forward to this!

Okey I found a biggy. Oo;
I am not too sure if this is of Wac,
but I think it is.
The Ebony armor has turned black. Oo;
And the helmet has gotten horns. Oo;
The screenshot:

I began playing with a high level (20+) character.
In my low level game, a giant is something that slaughters anything,
yet in a high level game, a giant is just food for the minotaurus and ogres. :(

a biggy what? Improvement? :P

it's what you get for ebony armors in WAC. The vanilla is still there, although it's much less seen due to it's rather royal look and gold etching all over. This one is the plain ebony armor. and yeah the helm have horns.

the giants are not finals.

Here's the first official Dunmer RealSwords blade. This one here is the regular steel version. it also come in ebony, as will many Dunmer blades..

This is a variation of this blade, shorter and broader, the Commandeer Cutlass pictured in ebony here.

So far I have also 2 Nords blades, 2 Imperial, A variation of the Goblin Bow that is the Orc War Bow (cleaner version).

and many other stuff... that I can't (or don't want) to enumerate :)

O.o; Oh..
Maybe you should name them different from the other ebony.
I mean, it looks so black and different from the original vanilla one. x.x

Ah well, it got me shocked. That's all>>;

Nice saber though!
Ah, I would love to see those katana's I saw earlier on in the Dunmer realswords.
I mean, black katana's..
Like in Morrowind, of almost every metal type you had a set of Japanese based weapons,
Iron Tanto's, Daedric dai-katana's, steel wakizashi's. In Oblivion, all we got was some Akaviri and some ultra rare magical stuff. Not too much to write home to Morrowind. =p

yeah I should change the name of the ebony set and the icons...

the black Katana set of Dunmer will be there. I have no plan to make that into all material though. 1 weapon, 1 texture usually. I will do different fitting colors as I did in Breton, or I will cheat and make a steel version when the original is the ebony. The Commandeer is an ebony weapon, the one I've shown up there is a lower class variant of the real weapon. (I happen to prefer classic style materials, so I show the lower copy :) )
Mormacil wrote:I love the blade, it's just that in 70% of the Dunmer homeland there no horses so why a saber
ha.. so since when does a saber is supposed to be used on a horse only? This is not a cavalry saber, although it can look a bit similar. This pic down is the Cutlass version with straighter, shorter, broader blade.

and one of the Imperial.

That one was done long before RealSwords actually. Made some special modifications for the occasion, but I played a bit of the game with it before I started to do the rest. It's a precursor. Render well in-game too.

It's odd for me to say this. Since I really prefer black.
But I think personally that the lower class ebony is too black. >>;
Maybe add a bit diversity in the texture?

Mhm, I was not asking of you to make all those sets.
Just happy that you add some more of them in game. :)
Though I would love to see some Bonemold or other exotic materials from your hammer and anvil.
Why is the city Anvil called anvil anyway? I mean, don't they know that an anvil is destined to meet the head of a hammer?

Hope to see some release quick Waalx, that all looks lovely.
It's lovely to see an npc fighting with it's native weapon.

Nice lookin' stuff, Waalx. I have to agree that the ebony cutlass, though, looks a bit dark. Here's an idea. See if you can find a pretty clear example of "black chrome". It's on some truck rims that are being introduced as finish options on some aftermarket wheels nowadays, and I think it'd really look nice on that blade.

I don't know if it's feasible to implement in a game, but it sure does look good on the rims. 8-)

Or maybe to add some contrast, show a little silver/steel-ish color down where the sharp edge of the blade is? Just to break up the black color a bit.

I'm a big fan of sabers/rapiers anyway; it's nice to see more of 'em flooding in to the game. :) So, good work, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm chomping at the bits to get my hands on the new stuff!

this show that cutlass in-game. it does have silvery reflections already. The shot in my last post is without lights, direct from Nifscope. The way the copper one seems to reflect something is how I painted that texture :). To be honest the Commandeer texture job is probably my best so far in the sword category. The one that look plain black does reflect the light a bit less since the map is darker... yet..

Image

and now I have this to ask ye all...

Image

and a new this... (StarX will remember that texture...)

Of course! I knew that! :P

Anyway, I will probably create an Orc character very soon, so he will like that a lot!

That's definitely a dunmer bow, IMO. I like the texture, I like the look--it's really clean, elegant, what I imagine native weaponry would look like.

As for an orc bow--is there any way you can add "accoutrements" to it? Something like beadwork, or feathers?
