the anticipation for the new version of WAC is killing me
Hi every one and happy new year to you and your loved one...
I tried Fallout 3 but honnestly speaking I am disapointed...
The game is shorter, simpler, easier and less immersive than Oblivion and a tad more beautiful but not enough to make me want to spend the little time I have on it...
I guess I am not in the majority...
Quite frankly if Bethesda continues to propose less and less immersive games I am more than worried about TES V...
On the bright side Dragon Age Origin is coming soon...

Ah well lets keep positive on Bethesda.
They got a better combat system then in Morrowind.
And better graphics. Lets hope they will now combine the two in five.
And otherwise, lets hope they have a construction set so we can alter it to become great.

One possible bug report.
That is, about the Ebony.
I have not encountered any 'real' Ebony, only the black one. Well, I have already reported that.
Only now that I have looked into the CS I know a little more.
As it looks in the CS, the blackish ebony should have another Icon. But it doesn't in the game.
I compared them and saw that both Ebony and 4wEbony are almost the same.
They both are black instead of that one is the brownish Ebony.
But the Ebony refers to the Ebony folder and the blackish Ebony to the wwww folder in the archive.
So I don't know what's wrong, some how it sees the "armor/wwww/ebony" the same as "armor/ebony". :S
Because the one Ebony kind of armor refers to the normal ebony folder, and there is normal ebony in that folder.
And the other one refers to the wwww kind of blackish ebony armor like it should.
Yet somehow something seems to mess that up, so that they both appear the same.
Hope this is useful Waalx, I don't mean to complain about it, but it's just that I don't want the normal Ebony to disappear. And it's a strange bug, don't ya think? Or isn't it a bug? x.x

Hi everyone
By the way...do we know if Waalx will ever complete is work on WAAC? Does he have any visibility and can he share it with us...
I am in no mean putting pressure under Waalx...I am already enjoying the wealth that WAAC is providing me.
In fact I know the answer: it's ready when it's ready
But as I mentioned months ago..."better is the enemy of good". Meaning when you aim for perfection you might very well be caught in an everlasting quest and WAAC deserve to be release before TES V...
By the way a personnal question to Waalx: I have made a little quest mod (available on TESNexus) called: The Fall of Dagoth Hur (nothing fancy) and I would like to use your sabertooth smidolon...May I or should I wait until WAAC is released or should I just forget about it? Any answer is completely understandable...so don't hesitate to answer with a "massive" NO...as I would not think less of you.

Happy New Year! (sorry I'm late!)
I'm rebuilding my oblivion ecosystem on the new computer. I have to see where to restart the work, but several stuff are greatly changed and/or fixed already in the files I have here. Sorry guys, I know the next version is long to come!
The RealSwords integration is not quite there, as so far I'm not even finished with creating the different quality in each races that are there. After I'll have to add the lists to the npc. It's actually kind of redoing the work I already did, but it's more complex as I'm blending the armor change of WAC into it too..
When my version is out, we can talk...
So stay tuned for a new version now that the fiesta is over.

The ebony armor of vanilla will still be there, although it will become the rare version, mostly all magical ones will be based on the gold and black.. I have to check here. Could be I had to create that second 4w one for testing.Sethsryt wrote:One possible bug report.

Well no. Many people have asked me this for a while and nothing comes out of it before it's out (WAC). It's nothing personal, it's the same for everybody on that, I'm not going to say yes to you now when I refused everybody esle request about that so far.MasterAub wrote:By the way a personnal question to Waalx: I have made a little quest mod (available on TESNexus) called: The Fall of Dagoth Hur (nothing fancy) and I would like to use your sabertooth smidolon...May I or should I wait until WAAC is released or should I just forget about it? Happy New Year to you too!Waalx wrote:Happy New Year! (sorry I'm late!)![]()
Hmm, I was thinking maybe I could offer some assistance in that area: I'll PM you to detail what I was thinking about.Waalx wrote: The RealSwords integration is not quite there, as so far I'm not even finished with creating the different quality in each races that are there. Great stuff! That may be the best news I've heard so far this year (although having my contract confirmed for another year was also quite good news!).Waalx wrote:So stay tuned for a new version now that the fiesta is over.

Good to hear that you're back Waalx, and I can't wait to see what you cook up next; I hope we see a release soon.
Not sure if you've heard of this project or not, but modder is generating terrain and building cities across the Elsweyr border-- it looks amazing so far. I just thought you might be interested since you were thinking about adding spawn points and camps across the borders.

Really nice.
As usual, the race's style is shown well, when you see those swords you can feel the snow, that fell on the smith's forehead when he worked the metal.
I like the Broadedge the most. It's not easy to create a nordic style dagger/shortsword. By nordic you think of rough and brutal. But it really fits the nordic culture.

Anyone else notice that his work keeps getting more detailed? Those textures are nice.
