Great work, although the UV on the Atmorian Crown sword seems to be back to front. Either that or you just flipped the image in photoshop and hoped no-one would notice!
I can't seem to make sense of the runes: "Kane (kine?) hold thæ (thy?) hand to wik (vik?,lik?) to ræ (??) in the great name of Atmora."
It's late where I am, so I could just be missing something obvious.
Keep it up.
Edit: Oh, I just got it. "Victory." I'm such a nob. Quick, where's the embarrassed emoticon?

?
the blade has only one side in the texture, hence the reversed text depending on the angle you view it.
the last blade I made, a dunmer one.

believe me, the Solingen is nothing compared to that last one...starduks wrote:holy crap, the soligen might have some competition

Anyway, the Leaf Sword is a cool one in my own taste. it's double handed, and look very cool on the back. it's a bit short compared to some double-handed blades, but for Dunmer (wee elves), I think it fit. Not that small, much bigger than say the Orc Quandao that is really a short two-handed. the Leaf is more like a two-handed longsword, or a bastard if you like.
Indeed it is.Haruko wrote:Anyone else notice that his work keeps getting more detailed?
for comparison sake.. here are some textures.
the Solingen, and the Naegling (Nord), and Lionclaw Saber, and Commandeer (Dunmer). Naegling and Commandeer gold details is hand-painted. A bit more work and time and effort on my blades now.
An old texture, the Solingen

A new one, The Naegling

An Old texture, The LionClaw Saber

A new one, the Comandeer

And the Ayleid Knight Bastard (of the Dead Knights)

Hah! I feel pain when I look at this stuff. Pain because I'd like to play with it in my game and I can't (yet).
I'm still enjoying beating up on those WAC those critters all the same with v0.04.
Awesome leaf sword: most impressive.
I think there's lots of people looking forward to an update, good luck with it!

I'm enjoying watching as you become more skilled Alex, and eagerly awaiting the use of these new blades.
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

Hi Waalx,
That's just great and an opportunity to play Oblivion again.
By the way did you finally got a new job?

Made an axe though.

The Axe is beautiful Waalx...I don't understand how someone as talented as you are is not hired on the spot in the design studio of your choice.
This is really net stuff Waalx...really net. I told you already but I tell you again: you are EXTREMELY talented. Your work on those weapons and WAC is better than the job of Bethesda Designers...and they did a good job...

Your latest work looks great Waalx.
I also thought I'd post some inspirational artwork by Kerem Beyit of Turkey. It reminded me of what you've been working on lately, figured you'd appreciate it.
