Yes, I use Robert's V4 for males and it looks fine I think, but I wonder if Artfact was meaning Robert's female instead.

I think I remember ages ago where Waalx said something about possibly using Robert's female replacer at some stage for his armours and clothing, but I may have misread.

Anyway, if that was or will be the case I'm glad someone did the HGEC meshes first. :) The gear looks fine with just vanilla, but even better with a body replacer of choice.

There are so many ways to combine the different armours, you could almost have a different set for each day of the year. I love choices, but sometimes it's hard to decide. lol.

LoL True enough, that is why i am glad that my current character does not use armor. :)

And you are right, Artfact may have meant Robert's female.

A dangerous encounter with an invisible dingo!

BTW
One suggestion came to my mind. Those Barbarian armors are pretty cool albeit unplayable. I have personally edited the esp to be able to wear them but it would be cool if they were available for default in the next version. I understand that some of them are male-only, but I think you could use some of the vanilla armors as placeholders (fe. the female leather vest).

Same goes for some of the gladiator armors. When you pick them up they just disappear from your inventory and from the world space. If I knew how to edit esps I'd fix it myself :(

I suggest waiting for the next update anyway as you never know what may be in it. If you were to make edits you might have to do them again or find it unnecessary.

I'd also think the armours aren't meant to be looted, the same as the vanilla Arena, but I may be wrong.

HGEC users.... :)

I don't think I've seen it mentioned here before, and if it has this could be a reminder, but there's a complete HGEC conversion of all WAC armours for this current WAC version. Includes the Arena, robes, bandit gear etc, etc.

It's made by a Japanese modder so you'll have to translate this page and there are lots of pics. :)
http://kikimod.jugem.jp/

Otherwise search for this file via Google, HGEC_Equipment_Replacer_for_WAC, which is what I ended up doing because the Japanese 4Shared host wanted to install a plugin and I'm a bit paranoid about unauthorized plugins that NoScript warns me about. You should find it on English 4Shared and it's 31,311 KB. All the screen shots are in the archive as well.

You'll have the usual 365 seconds wait before downloading. In fact I think it was more than that but worth the wait...lol

Looks good. :-)

It was surprised. This is my website.
Thank you for the introduction.

"HGEC Equipment Replacer for WAC" is still a beta version now.
After the renewal of WAC v0.1b is distributed, it is a distribution schedule of the Fix version.
When Fix version is completed, I will make Topic in Forum.

I would like the HGEC user to try :) .

Anja, with Construction Set Extender it is very easy to create patches. You can just load Walx Animals & Creatures.esm, Wac.esp (without active plugin) and make the edits. When you save new mod, it will automatically be dependent on both loaded mods.

Edit: My point here was supposed to be - if any of you are making your personal modifications, I recommend that you make patches instead of directly editing the mod itself. That way you can still use it after update and even share it with others.

lol, Washington, it doesn't bother me one way or the other as I do my own editing to suit my needs. I know about dependencies and patches, how they are made and how they work.

I just suggested waiting because VinlandViking didn't know how to edit esps, or make patches I gather. Thanks anyway for adding the info as I'm sure others will find it useful. :)

@ t2c1online:
I've been using your HGEC meshes since I made that post and haven't yet found a problem. I haven't seen everything, but all robes, normal clothing and most bandit and marauders armours I've come across look very good with no clipping or other problems I can see.

I still haven't been to the Arena as I keep getting side tracked, but I did find a dead Imperial guard and tried his armour which worked fine as a HGEC version, if a bit bulky....meaning very heavy and encumbering. The shape is fine. I sold it though since heavy armour is not my thing. :)

Sorry Anja, I didn't meant to imply that you don't know about it and my post was more directed to everyone, but I mentioned you because you have said

"If you were to make edits you might have to do them again or find it unnecessary. "

And by making them in patch they are safe (and shareable too). I made that mistake before when I edited WAC directly.
But now it's super-easy to make patches, no more esmifying and espifying.

It would be nice if someone had balanced for example weapons and armour in patch and shared it here.

That's OK. :) I apologize for being over sensitive.

It would be nice if someone did the balancing, I agree, but not me..lol

I know it's sacrilege, :P and I'd hide this in a spoiler tag if I could.... :cheese: but one thing I do miss is OOO's unique loot and harder dungeons. I'm finding it difficult to go through a three level ruin that's supposed to be full of vampires and find 5 in total and then the "Boss" chest has 50 gold and some other rubbish. :-(

Perhaps I should make an OOO only character for nostalgia's sake. I'm too tired these days to edit lists and fiddle with loot tables, as well as adding special loot to unique chests. If someone made a new OOO|WAC patch just for kicks, I'd be happy, but I'm not going to do that either, so I don't expect anyone else to.

As much as I loved FCOM, I finally gave up on it and uninstalled as soon as I knew about this version of WAC (except for OOO, but I'm not using it) because I was sick of the micro management and anticipation of CTD's even if they didn't always happen. I can't really be bothered with that level of tweaking and poking anymore. And I think my computer thanks me for lightening the load. lol

WAC has never crashed on me in all the time I spend playing with it. The only time I'll get a CTD is if I've been playing for several hours and I don't take notice of things I should, like slowing down and longer loading etc. I do have to prune my mod list and do some merging and stuff again though. It seems to grow when I'm not looking

:arg: Edited this post too many times for spelling and crap. I should get some sleep instead of sitting in front of my monitor most of the night.

Oh yes, I agree, yarn, yarn, and again yarn...
I try to minimize the Vanilla disaster with ALEX, VASE, Mimics, RuneSkulls, T.I.E...but I'm missing OOO too in the dungeons.:)

Waalx, it seems that sometimes the animal companions of the merchants get lost. I found the horse of the Orc merchant near Chorrol standing around next to the farm (Odil's farm?, the farm with the goblins). And to whom belongs this lonely Bob?

ROFL...at least you get yarn. I get calipers. I also have Runeskulls and a few other things to up the ante. I must say I've never tried T.I.E but I think I'll look into it as well as the others you mentioned when I find out what the abbreviations are...lol. Mimics are cool. They can scare the pants off you sometimes when you least expect it.

I saw Bob on the road to Skingrad I think. He was on his own and being a donkey no matter how I tried he was too stubborn to move. :) I also found a little cat near on the road outside the Brina Cross Inn mourning his Khajiit owner who had been killed before I got there. Never did find out who did it.

I found also that Yakul eventually forgets he's supposed to stay back when I have my weapon drawn and joins in the fight. It didn't go well in Elsweyr a few times and I had to reload to keep the sweet fellow. I haven't checked in the CS if he's essential, but I waited a very long time after he "died" and he never got up again. Plus, I was able to loot him.

Ah sorry:

ALEX and VASE are from Mister Item Interchange Vacuity, I really like his mods:

ALEX: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22795
VASE: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28186 (or the older version: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25001 )

Wow, thanks Salimbene . :) I have seen those before but never did anything about it.

Both of them look awesome and I'm definitely downloading. Since I removed FCOM a couple of months ago I just don't get that feeling of imminent danger anywhere anymore and I haven't really bothered as yet to find an alternative as far as loot anyway. Lucky for me I always play as a mage then for ALEX.

One of the many great things about WAC is you can walk around and not everything wants to bite your leg off unless you get in it's personal space. That's one of the many things I hated about the vanilla game. A wolf would come from miles away just to get at you, which is just stupid as real wolves from what I've read will shy away from human contact rather than attack, unless provoked.

FCOM as much as I liked it went a bit too far the other way. But, sometimes a good and hard fight is just what the doctor ordered, just not at every corner and behind every tree.

We don't have wolves here so I've only seen them in a zoo on TV, or read about them, but we do have dingoes. That's something I've been meaning to mention to Waalx. Dingoes are shy and usually solitary wild dogs native to Australia and they will also avoid humans where possible, unless they are also provoked or starving. Interbreeding with domestic dogs that have gone feral has given them a bad name in some cases, but licensed people keep them as pets and for conservation reasons and they are very smart and gentle creatures if treated right.

Anyway, I suppose I'll need to build a Bashed Patch now...groan.. I haven't bothered as yet until the next WAC update as I don't really have anything that needs it despite the near 200 mods I'm using. Not all of those are active all the time though. Each character has their own set of mods, profile and background.

Whereas I only have seen Dingoes in the zoo and if I remember well they bark rather strange.
During the last years some wolves reimmigrated from Eastern Europe to Germany - they were eradicated here long ago - and it is almost impossible to watch them. What you can find as evidence for their presence are the footprints.

I like FCOM but I always have tried to use a reduced spawn combination. At the moment it is "retired", played it for years, it's time for some other juwels.

Hey thanks for the link, i was already using ALEX with my current character but now also VASE. 8-)

BTW yesterday in the evening i was playing OB a bit and in one of the towns(Leyawinn i think.) i saw a red maned wolf named Raxa i think. I did not click on her/him/it and neither did i used the activate button on Raxa. I left raxa where i saw...it and went to Pel's Gate, where suddenly to my surprise Raxa appeared behind my char and started following me acting like a companion. But then a Worg came running towards me and without warning Raxa also attacked me after i hit the Worg ones? Raxa was still behind me of that i am certain, so it could not have been the case that i hit it by accident. Ended up killing Raxa as well, but it was a weird moment.

Dingoes don't actually bark but they howl and have a crying sound which is probably what you heard. :)

I watched an amazing documentary not long ago about wolves. I can't remember which country they were in but they were wild and there was snow... The lead wolf was black which wasn't great for camouflage, but he or she didn't need it I guess. :)
The people observing and studying them couldn't get anywhere near them and had to watch with binoculars because they would run away, which goes to prove they are not naturally aggressive for no reason.

@ Fessels

Yes, I've seen Raxa, but he didn't follow me and he was alone. Are you sure it was Raxa at Pell's gate? Just wondering because there are the same wolves in various places and they are tough for a low level character.

BTW Has anyone come across the white tiger on the Skingrad road coming from from Kvatch? Run like hell if you do, but he'll probably see you first.
