It depends on what the other mods are to an extent. Armamentarium should be OK, you'll get a mega amount of weapons and armours with WAC as well, but variety isn't a bad thing. :) I don't know much about John's Overhaul, but I have heard of it.

Anyway, I have all of the WAC esps merged into my Bashed Patch and all works as intended, but I don't currently have anything that adds more creatures (except Mimics), other big weapon or armour mods or the like. I've toned down my mod list considerably since I removed FCOM and Armamentarium co-incidenatally.... :lol: I use COBL and a few other mods that add to leveled lists but don't affect WAC.
I'll have to keep an eye out for TCOS items I guess, I haven't spent enough time with my new expanded setup yet. I just worry there's something wrong with TCOS's integration because it doesn't show up in the changes to leveled lists after rebuilding my bashed patch. Armamentarium and all of the other item mods I'm using are integrated in various spots, but there is not a single entry that has TCOS modifying it. But for now I guess I'll wait and see, hopefully it works out somehow.

Johns leveled list overhaul works if you use wrye bashes bashed patch, provided you can even get wrye bash to work. But its well worth it if you can.

Also i am having problems with this mod where i crash as soon as i get close to a gargoyle, enter the imperial city market district, some npcs are missing bodies where clothes/armour should be, and generally crashing when ever i move for more than 30 seconds. D:

Wyre Bash works fine as long as you apply the fixes for the Arena Vampire eyes which you can find a couple of pages back. You'll need TES4Edit, but it's easy if you follow the instructions. There's also a fix somewhere back a few pages for the Gnolls skeleton which was causing crashes.


Re your other crashes....Either you have another mod that is overriding something and causing the crashes or your load order is messed up. Are you using all the WAC esps, or only some of them?

Since the meshes and textures are in a BSA WAC should be installed correctly as far as that goes. Perhaps you need to register the BSA in the game ini, but if you use OBMM that will be automatic.

Also are you using Windows 7 and have Oblivion installed in the programs folder rather than C:\Oblivion, for example. I still use Windows XP so I don't have that issue, thankfully.

I only have some WAC plugins used, i also have OOO amonge some other mods installed, I have the WAC-OOO plugin too. Player summons, birds & insects, companions, 8th gate and legion are not being used. I updated my bashed patch so everything should be working (i think D:). With the bashed patch i have been able to explore at least to the edges of IC, however i notice that some bridges are missing a the roads to them are pink, and city doors arent working.

I use windows 7 and my copy of oblivion is from steam and is im my second HD which doesnt have a program files folder. I have used BOSS, OBSE and OBMM, honestly i have no idea whats wrong, maybe i should try playing without OOO but i love that mod. Oblivion seems dull without it. :s
Also i cant seem to find this vampire eyes patch you mentioned. I must be blind or something :(

So, when rebuilding my bashed patch and going through the changes I actually came across a single instance of TCOS:

• LL0VampireShirt100
• WAC - TCOS.esp [ADR]

So... yeah. I'm still really skeptical, but haven't played enough to know for sure if the RealSwords weapons and WAC equipment aren't being merged into leveled lists. But wouldn't you expect to see it modifying more entries than vampire shirts? I'm going to try it with the older individual race esps at some point to see if I get any results from them, but unless someone can tell me for sure that the results Bash gives aren't the totality of it, I'm going to remain skeptical. I want TCOS to work with everything else!

EDIT: Well, I did come across a sword, but it was on a goblin, and I have a mod that specifically gives RealSwords and tribal shields to goblins, so I still can't be sure. I guess I'll find out eventually. Still, there has to be someone out there that knows if TCOS is supposed to be listed as modifying specific leveled lists after rebuilding a bashed patch, or if it's included but somehow doesn't show up in that dialogue.

I'm a bit out of the game so I'm just guessing, but I think that it should have Invent tag.

Load whole your load order in TES4Edit and check what gets drawn.

That OOO patch is for the Alpha version so it might be causing you some problems since a lot has changed in WAC since then. But I doubt it would cause missing bridges and non working doors.

Re the doors...Are you playing with an existing character that has many hours on it? Can't remember the exact number without looking it up, but it's something like 200 hours. If you also have switches, and other animations like spells and flames etc that don't animate you may have the A Bomb or animation glitch. You can fix it with Wrye Bash.

Otherwise it's something else I have no idea about unless you feel like reinstalling the game and starting over which might fix the problems. I know what a drag that is and I'd hate to have to do it with what I have in my game. I messed up not long ago when I was cleaning out some unused mods and deleted all my icons by accident because they were all still highlighted when I was removing a select few, but I managed to fix it without re-installing. That's what happens when I stay up all night fiddling with things. ;-((

I know what you're saying though about missing OOO though. I still have it installed but not using with WAC. I'm thinking about making an OOO specific character to get the dangerous dungeons and other unique stuff back for awhile. :ninja:

Re the vampire eyes...it's not a patch. You need to download TES4Edit and do this, which I copied for myself from whichever page its on, and so I don't have to search for it. There were reports that a Bashed Patch couldn't be created at all without this fix, or Bash would error or something along those lines, so since you already have one I don't know what's going on there either.
1) Download and open TES4Edit.exe
2) In the menu that has popped up, titled Master/Plugin Selection, right click on any esp/esm and select "Select None"
3) Select all of the WAC esps and the esm, including the ones you dont need, click ok, and let the processing finish.
4) click the little + to the left of the Waalx Animals and Creatures.esm, then click the + next to the "eyes" subfolder
5) find the editorID for the value "eyeVampireYellowWAC" and right click it, then click change "FormID"
6) change the ID in this little pop-up to "0003B379" minus the quotes, click OK.
7) Select all the records that pop up in the next menu (I had 3), click OK.
8) Click ok again, this is just telling you the updating was successful.
9) Close TES4Edit with the X in the corner, click ok the save the changes.
10) Have fun running your patch

I created a new character specifically for using WAC, if the OOO patch is for the alpha then yeah i guess that does explain the missing bridges. I deactivated OOO so only WAC is running and it works fine now, but if you say that the OOO patch is for alpha then will there be a new patch for the latest version? (im assuming the link on the 1st page of this thread, v1 beta is the latest? :? ).

Yes Beta1 is the latest version. I don't know if anyone plans to do an OOO patch, but I'd be surprised if one didn't pop up sooner or later though.

Well the bashed patch didnt really do anything to help after all, im still getting pink roads and missing bridges, as well as doors not working. I cant even get too far away from the prison sewer without the game crashing. ;(

How about if you post a load order of your mods? I looked back a few pages and didn't see that you already posted one.

Either use Wrye Bash or OBMM to get the load order, not an alphabetic list as it's necessary to see if another mod is causing the problems because of it's position in the loading priority.

I generally use OBMM to get my load order so go to Import/Export at the right of the OBMM window, then select View Load Order. Save it to a text editor like Wordpad then post it here.

Depending on other mods you're using someone else may be able to help better as I don't use anything that really would interfere like that. Are you using any of the Unique Landscape or Better Cities mods, or anything like them that would possibly add landscape or city changes? Just a wild guess as maybe they may have something to do with it, if you have them of course. I don't use either of those, especially the UL mods, as my system would fry, although I would like to.

I am using some unique lanscapes, but they had no problem before, i was able to see the bridges and had no pink roads, now im not sure. I do have two WAC compatability patches for dark forest and chorrol hinterlands, but since you said the OOO patch was for the wrong version im think the same thing might be happening here?

Well, I came across an Imperial gladius on some amazonian or barbarian from MMM (I think), so I guess TCOS is getting in on the leveled lists despite not showing up after I rebuild my bashed patch. I was worried for a while, Armamentarium and John's Leveled List Overhaul so dominated the random loot I was coming across that I couldn't tell if any RealSwords were in the game. Hooray for Bash, I went from almost totally vanilla item content to 4000 new items or some crazy number.

You really should upgrade Weather- All Natural as there have been several updates since the version you're using. I'm using the version before the latest which is 1.3 as Axah131 said, but I don't feel like downloading it again just now as I only just got the one I'm using. I'm not having any problems beside too much rain, but also haven't yet altered the All Natural ini file either.

Other than that I can't see anything that would cause issues unless it is a UL mod and like I said I can't help you much there. Regarding the pink textures...have you updated Archive Invalidation? I assume you have, but since it's bridges and roads that are your main problem I'd be looking very closely at the UL mods since they alter land.

I would suggest deactivating those mods in particular temporarily and see if the problems still exist.

What about OBSE and the version number? The latest versions of Weather-All Natural requires it at version 0019b or greater.

Since you have run TES4LODgen you also need to run it every time you've added or removed any landscape altering mods as well as things like Elsweyr Anequina of course. That shouldn't have any effect on missing textures though.

This is an example of one of my load orders from Wrye Bash. You'll see my Bashed Patch is named for the character because I have separate profiles for each character and their races, and other than the main mods, they all have different things like armours and bits and pieces as well as their own companion animals.

This load order is minimal compared to what I used to have with FCOM before I removed it. :) A couple of these mods are my own personal additions with chests of things I've taken out of other mods. I also add and remove mods pretty often when I'm trying things out and this is a new character so there are more I haven't yet added in for her.

I have the latest obse version, made sure i didnt forget that one. :P
As for UL ill see what happens when i dactivate those and update lodgen again.

EDIT: Tried it, didnt make any difference :(

Well, the only other thing I can suggest is to make an entirely new character and use NO mods at all as a test. I don't mean give up on the one you're currently playing but a quickly made vanilla character should tell you if it's a mod problem and which one it is if you slowly add mods back and test. Just back up your current saves beforehand and preferably move them out of the saves folder.

If you still have the problems then it tells you you either haven't installed something correctly, ie textures, non esp files are causing it, or it's incorrect Archive Invalidation.

A mistake many people make when removing mods is not removing all the files that came with the mod, especially when they use animation and texture replacers. In the case of textures, sometimes when they are removed the game "should" revert to the vanilla BSA, but it doesn't always happen. Either Wrye Bash or OBMM can be used to undo BSA edits.

If a strictly vanilla test doesn't fix the problem and reverting BSA edits if necessary, I'm out of ideas and a re-install of the game, only adding mods one at a time and thoroughly testing is probably the best solution.

My apologies if I'm telling you things you already know but I have no way of knowing what you know do I? :P

BTW...did you do what Washington suggested and take a look at your files in TES4Edit?

Pink something means missing texture. Get FormID Finder to find out which mesh from which mod is that and check if you have installed it properly (maybe you have data inside data or something).

TES4LODGen does not alter landscape LOD, only new items like trees, houses, rocks etc. Everything that has _far nif.

For landscape LOD it is important to install the files from the mods and if you uninstall the mod remove them. Best would be to install/uninstall mods with Wrye Bash BAIN that way you won't have to worry.

Once you have a problem and you find out to which mod it belongs with FormID Finder (or RefSkope), use TES4Edit to load that mod or the whole load order to check and investigate the problem and to fix it.

Feel free to ask for help if don't know what to do.
