Found one. If you kill a rat while the master druid (don't know his name other than it had Master in it) is in the same district as you are in the Imperial City (specifically the Elven Gardens), he will go insane and attack anyone in sight.

Okay... tonight I finally got around to battling it out in the arena which may I say is very good and more like a real gladiator's arena. I should have remembered to bet on myself because I would have made a "killing."
I'm not going to go back over 100's of pages, but has anyone had problems with the gate not opening after the announcer finishes talking? I think I remember someone saying something about it. I have previously played with the Alpha version though and didn't come across this problem.
Sometimes the gate opens and others it won't, but the gate for the Yellow team combatant always does open I noticed and they stand there waiting for me to come through. A few times if I've reloaded my save the gate will open, but most times I've had to tcl though it. The original gate seems to be still there as well as the new one, whether it's supposed to be or not. What I mean is the gate that usually slides down is there, which I think is the original vanilla one, as well as the new one that falls down flat to the ground, if that makes any sense.
Whatever the case, I'm still able to fight and continue up the ranks so for the time being it's not a big drama. Just thought I'd mention it.

Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it sayingEnd Of The World Switch PLEASE DO NOT TOUCHthe paint wouldn't even have time to dry. Terry Pratchett

I tried making sure the times were right, as in between 9am and 9pm and others as well. I think it's probably one of those glitches that sometimes happens with Ayleid ruins gates and switches as they work sometimes after a reload. I can still play through if I use tcl so it's OK for the moment.
I forgot to mention the gate often doesn't open to let me back into the bloodworks either after I've fought my opponent and I'm told to leave.

Hi Maigrets
I had the very same problem as well: door not opening, original gate remaining, the new gate falling flat down to the ground. So what you're saying does make any sense...

Two links for other Unique Landscapes users:
Viltuska made two WAC-patches for UL-Dark Forest und Chorrol Hinterland. I have forgotten them in my last installation and saw Sweetwater Camp today flying in the air

And Derridar's Lost Coast patch, which I didn't find last week:

Thanks for the links, Salimbene.
Later, I'll make a new thread and add all these patches and fixes to one place to make it easier to find them. A few of the fixes like the Gnolls and vampire eyes will be obsolete in the furure, so for the moment people can still ask if they can't find them.

I don't think the Vampire eyes fix needs done in the newer editions of Wyre Bash, of course I can't say for certain but I haven't ran into any problems creating a bash patch which is what I think the fix was for.Maigrets wrote:Thanks for the links, Salimbene.![]()

Hi ! I do not know if the subject has been brought before and i apologize if this issue has already been dealt with, but i have been playing WAC along with a heavily modded game, and except the missing mesh due to the conflict with FCOM that i was aware of, it appears that i would prefer FCOM rather than WAC. Understand me, the world with WAC has gained a complete new life, more intense and also much more diverse, but for a character level 40 invincible to magic and having Umbra dealing 200 damages, it can become annoying not being challenged at all. and I'm not cheating, i only have the mighty umbra quest that is a bit excessive. Although i admit Martigen's monster's creatures appear very pale compared to wac's ones, they offer great challenge up to level 60, and this helps a lot keeping the life of the game. I would not want WAC to copy this, but would it be possible for example to add a chance of making a greater opponent appearing on the map, or making stronger opponents appear in specific areas which level would be independant from the one of the player? In my opinion it is important not to make every creature high level, because what makes WAC so beautiful precisely is its diversity. Now that you have diversity in the "natural" sector, why not having a greater one in the level scale sector?

Hem i have a more practical question if you do not mind.
I am trying to solve the Gnoll's crash following the indications given by waalx but it appears that i have no goblin folder in "creatures" and i absolutely do not know where its Skeleton.nif might be, although i encounter goblins very often in the game
Does anyone have a suggestion, with which creature i should replace that skeleton.nif file?

Just download this and just replace all your esps of choice and the esm to fix the Gnolls issue. Rebuild the Bashed Patch.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/elqudqww9 ... Gnolls.rar
With regard to your other post, it's entirely your choice of course which mods you use. Note though that WAC and FCOM are NOT compatible and even merging all in your Bashed Patch will not make them completely so. You will lose content from one or more mods and depending on load order create balancing and other issues.
WAC isn't all about big bosses and having to kill and be killed every encounter, although you will find boss like encounters if you look hard enough. Besides the enemies you find or that find you, like the bandits and more epic creatures, the atmosphere and diversity adds more to the game than fighting.
I find it extremely annoying that everything wants to kill me and I am then expected to kill everything to survive the game. I won't bother going into realism and that debate, or believable credibility as I prefer. In a fantasy game things have to have physics and some basis in reality despite the use of magic and having beast races.
Even in WAC there are some creatures that wouldn't attack unless provoked in real life, like dingoes and wolves and some others. Most role playing games are the same. It's like every creature has a severe case of rabies and nothing is friendly or even neutral.
This is my opinion though and everyone plays their game differently. It's nice we have that choice.

Thank you very much for the file! It saved me a great amount of time
Besides i totally agree with you, everything must not be all about fighting, and this capacity for the character to observe the nature without being instantly attacked is a part of the wealth of WAC, like encountering a lion which will follow the player, creatures accepting the player up to a certain range, and others harmless ones that simply contribute making the world breathing (oh -it comes as i write-and why the greenies are aggressive it coud have been great as well if they were a kind of NPCs with quests...?) No The only trouble i experienced with FCOM was with the armor of some NPCs being invisible the legion guards, MMM necromancers and some travellers, and except for gnoll's camp no CDTs at all with nearly all WAC's esps enabled thats why i could play with the two for some time, but it has been a hard choice to make indeed.. Anyway i am transmitting this amazing project to my friends so they can report aswell if it can help. For now good luck and courage for the following

Has anyone ever had any CTD's north of Leyawiin while walking towards Fisherman's Rock? I have this weird CTD going on...and I dont have WAC loaded. I'm trying to figure out what the heck is causing it since I can't test out some mod functionality because of it.

Since there have been no responses to your question the only thing I can offer is that even in the vanilla game Leyawiin (and surrounds) is a city I generally don't go near unless I really have to for the very reason you mention. Sometimes it's OK and others as soon as I get anywhere near the area I get a CTD.
The areas around Skingrad and Anvil are others I have problems with sometimes. Do you use the Unofficial Oblivion patches? If you read through that massive changelog and comments by the authors (and others in the know) you'll see how many of the meshes and other resources in the vanilla game are unoptimized and cause a lot of problems. Even with the patches it still happens to me on occasion if I'm testing a particular mod with a vanilla character only, and no other mods.
Trying to troubleshoot these things can be a nightmare especially when it's random and in the base game only. Oblivion is very often a love hate relationship with me and I use every solution, trick and whatever else to tweak my game. When it works it's great, when it doesn't for unknown reasons, and especially when nothing has changed from one play time to another...it gets really frustrating.
Most times my game runs better with the couple of hundred mods I have, including huge ones that change a lot of things, than the original does unmodded. Hows that for irony??

By the way, will there ever come a next Version of WAC? Before or after Skyrim, I mean in general. Because, WAC have sutch amazing content, but it don't really exploit his content, of course it's a Beta, but i don't really have the feeling that this mod still alife.
