Okay, I have finally actually tested this a bit (after not playing Oblivion at all for the past six months). There are several things that hit me.
First of all, there are enough people who just write "ooh, that's so great/amazing/beautiful/whatever" so I'm going to try and point out what isn't. First of all, without WAC installed the game doesn't even crash on exit . Now I get them whenever I try to load another game, or go back to the main menu, or exit. Curiously enough, I haven't had one crash when I'm actually playing.
Then, there are the creatures. They look great, but most of them are simply too big. I don't think we would lose much effect if they were just a tad bit smaller (for example, if the tiger was smaller than a horse instead of twice as big).
In the other direction, the swords seem too small for me, and with a big, bulky Nord it looks downright ridiculous. Some of the two-handed swords look like knives in his hands. Needless to say, not pretty.
Of course, there are some minor issues spread out here and there. That suspension bridge just outside the IC on the road towards Skingrad had for some reason disappeared. But people were still walking on at as if it was there. Other than that, the CTD's and some other minor issues other people have already mentioned, I haven't noticed anything else (yet). I am very impressed (what do you expect?) Keep up the good work, and please give me a big sword in the future.

Modded Oblivion always tends to crash on exit, this is not a unique feature exclusive to WAC. Get the mod Fast Exit from TesNexus to get rid of this.

Some of the creatures do need to be scaled down a bit. But I think that has more to do with the chance of them getting stuck into interiors than anything else.

The size of the weapons is realistic. In fact: all of Bethesda's models are too big! So some of the swords from WAC may come across as "small", while they are actually proportioned in a much more realistic way than the vanilla and most modded weapons.

Not sure if you just wanted to show that this mod has been created with RS Nord stuff for the fun of it or if you think it's not allowed to use the meshes and textures from RS Nord.

If it's the second reason than there's no need to worry as the readme of RS Nord allows the meshes and textures to be used by other modders (with proper credit given), unlike the models and textures that are exclusive to WAC.

Anyway, I think that mod looks nice!

the guy also credits Waalx, which is more than some modders have done in the past.
It's a pally thing, you wouldn't understand.

Dall does great texturing work I personnally used some is work in my own mod...

I think it's interesting to see what someone else can do with Alex's work...Eventhough I like better Realsword Nord.

I am well aware the crashing is no unique issue, but thanks StarX for the mod link. It just seems as if some mods cause more problems than others...

So the creatures are going to get smaller? Whatever the reason, that's good news from where I'm standing. :D

Maybe the Bethesda models are oversized, but they still set the standard. It looks ridiculous when the weapons are so different in size. If you know of a mod that rezises the Vanilla to fit with WAC I'm all ears. I just hope having different-size weapons won't be the final solution?

Heh, of course I was just joking that it isn't unique to WAC. Though it's still possible that users that are new to modding may think so.

Hold on! I never said the creatures would be scaled down! That's up to Alex to decide. But when working on some of the unique WAC dungeons I had to scale down (and make a unique ID) a creature because it got stuck in interiors.

I think that in the final version of WAC most of the vanilla weapons will be gone, though I'm not sure what Waalx has planned for that.

Hey this is kind of offtopic, but has anyone heard from Waalx recently? I sent him a few pms asking for permissions for some WAC things, but I haven't heard from him... Is he okay? I'm kind of worried =[

How long ago? Two weeks I can get into. I guess reallife is just sucking up his time. Which I can only imagine way to good... But yes he is incredibly quit even behind the scenes.

On a sidenote 2,5 months is not enough to make a consolegame :P

Same (for my plugin) but it's been over three weeks. I'm concerned about him as well since he always answers my messages.
:-o If it's something good in RL then disregard this.

Yes WAC crashing on exit is normal. I never mentioned it since i figured it would get fixed over time as other big overhaul mods have done.

With all consuming mods like WAC i usually stick to just using it and no other non WAC saves due to how much it changes and the great chance of crashing without it running. Same thing has happened with other great mods like OSCURO'S OBLIVION OVERHAUL mod and MARTIGEN'S MONSTER MOD etc etc.

It definitely pays off in fun using as little mods as possible. Today i actually saw the Emperor with a beard when before that was not the case perhaps due to using facial texture mods.

Or you could use a simple OBSE plugin (not exactly a mod) like fast exit which removes the CTD on exit and "kills" the game properly.

That's actually due to WAC. I don't use facial texture mods and I have that only with WAC.

With Alex real life often takes him by storm, and it's not entirely rare that we don't hear from him for some time. I have no way of knowing if he's alright though, if anything has happened to him I'm not sure who the best person to ask would be, maybe Mormacil.
